Resurrect... I noticed that you like to use Starshower a lot more than Lightning Bolt. In your 16K parse, you got Starshower off 31 times in a 64 second fight. That's once every 2 seconds. How did you manage that? That parse is for a single fight, right? What was the makeup of your group when you parsed that? I usually get put in the caster group with an Illy and Troub. My Illy always give me TC because I'm the only healer in the group. On rare occasions I get Tandem.... very rare. And to be honest, I don't even know what Tandem is. /blush

I see you use Storm Bolt over Lightning Bolt a lot. Does that have a faster recast?

Also, what are you using that proc's Greater Void Bane?

So I guess I'll go back to an old question, What is your casting order? I mean 16K is insane. I'm sure you have uber gear. For DPS I have a mix of Legendary/Fabled leather/cloth stuff to get my Spell Crit as high as possible (only at 82% right now). I'm in a casual guild and don't expect to do 16K... or even 10K like Krista, but right now I'm only hitting about 3500-4000 using my DPS AA spec and DPS gear. I'd love to hit 5k+.

Or maybe I just suck....

That is just 1 big multi-mob encounter so aes are going to hit more targets and do more damage. The trash parse for the single target mobs out front would look completely different.

Your parse sounds about right for your gear/guild. Some things you may want to try and shoot for are:
Either the bp from Kotiz in Seb or Jarsath Robe of Royalty in Maiden's
DPS T2 shoulders w/ 8% base spells
Dark Mail Gauntlets - HQ
Star Ruby Stud - named in secret labs area of Sebilis or broker
Burdened Signet - CoA
Ethernaut collection reward
Guk Blue Shiney collection

Thanks for the suggestions. I have the Blasted Jerkin from MC as my Breastplate. Krista had suggested that before but I'll check out the one from Seb.

You know, I completely forgot about the 8% on the T2 shoulders for my DPS gear. That's a definite swap!

The Ethernaut Collection reward... is that the one that gives you the reward to see blue shineys? If so, I gotz a long way to go on that! I never win shineys! I have horrible luck!

If you can tell me the Guk Blue Shiney collection, I'll start checking the broker for those pieces.

Oh.. and Dark Mail Gauntlets... is that from the Shadow Odessy HQ? That's the one were you fight Varsoon at the end, right? If so, I don't see me getting that anytimer soon! ;)

Ah... well I couldn't tell that was a mob encounter from the parse but that makes sense and explains how Starshower hit so many times in a short timespan. My biggest parses have always been in multi-target encounters.

By the way... does anyone use Call of Karana?? IMO, that spell sucks! I get resisted about 75% of the time when I cast that against on-level+ mobs.

Oh... and how many of you have your AA DPS stance from the Shadow tree? And does it make a huge difference? I need 2 more AAs to get that!

I don't know all the names, but the name of the collection is Idols of the Tribes of Guk.

The quest starter for Dark Mail Gauntlets is in Guk 1, you'll have to return to Guk 1 later in the quest so if you run Guk 1, pick up the starter. You can do the solo steps and then run Crucible and you can use the same cleared Guk instance. Then you'll have to kill the 4 nameds and run the short instance which can be rough so make sure you have a solid group for those.

Call of Karana is extremely situational and for the most part is never used.

Oh... I have this quest! Im on the last step (The Means to and End) and haven't found a group to kill the guy in Timorous Deep. I'm assuming I can pick any pair I want despite the fact that EQ2i has them listed by class.

Nice... thanks for the link reference. Your right, that ring from Guk is nice but I also like that belt from Everfrost! I don't have a decent belt.
