Default Fury in PVP

Whats up

Anyone use the fury class on pvp servers.

Specifically lvl 80.

I was a lvl 80 warden but now I am a fury. It is quite different.
I could use some advice as far as AA lines for 2 different specs..i guess one would be for raid anotehr for solo

also, any gear that i should be using besides the void shard gear?

No one replied to this tread, then ur all non credible in my book lol

PVE = gay cause its all scripted. learn the script, learn to win

PVP = challenging because a human is very unpredictable.

Nobody will want to help you with that attitude... People have many reasons not to reply.

PVP can be just as scripted as PVE. Most classes will use the exact same strategies, with few exceptions. Learn to fight the class, learn to win.

your questions are based on personal preferences, every fury i have ever talked to is specd slightly different to fit their preferences. search this forum for pve raid spec. And as for pvp spec its all up to you, just make sure u get serenity.

PVP Scripts:

Scout: Snare Landed? I win! What? Snare didn't land? I'm fucked...

Mage: You're fucked unless you have amazing gear!

Fighter: If you're not grouped, you're fucked!

Other Priest: Wow, this is dumb...

("You're" is referring to them, btw)

Everyone is different but since we don't get any control effects you have to be aware always if you get jumped theres not alot of solutions unless the person who jumped you is crap. Mostly the problem I have had with the fury is that even with 11-12k health sometimes in solo pvp a good scout can just pop us I generally fight very offencively because we have the capability to burst most classes pretty hard and if your solo you don't want to get caught in a position where you have to heal yourself because there are to many opportunities for a high dps player to burst on you suddenly or another person to come by and add in while you are healing yourself. I usually engage a target with both dots then thunderbolt if they have seen me though and they are a melee class instead of using thunderbolt i snare and move the other direction while casting wrath of nature if they are close enought i use brocks thermal shocker while still moving away and if they catch me with there temps up i burst my emergancies and deathsave stifle and use that 6 seconds to heal up cancel anything that inhibits healing like energy vortex or kill them. This is a really unrealistic example though most of the time you don't have the oppertunity to get the jump or have distance on a class. I'm using high dps melee classes as and example because for the most part they are the class that will melt you most often. ( Don't ever use energy vortex or dps stance unless you are positive you can kill them before they can reach you) Thorn pots are awsome make sure all your slots are adorned with thorns if possible alot of times these can finsih a person thats low at the point when you have to heal yourself.

Now this is my perspective if you can afford to cast regen heals, hibernation and whatnot on yourself before you engage feel free to do so but usually in this kind of situation if the player your about to attack is that unaware Its pointless because they will die before they have a chance to hit you. Healers are a toughie and a long fight but sometimes it can be easy if you get a dumb healer. What i usually do for a thick healer like a shaman or warden is just concerve power and heal and debuff until i see them start to get comfortable to dps me at that point i start using serene symbol and i pumice and then stifle pop energy vortex both dots thunderbolt and clean un if they are low enough. If this doesn't work go back to healing get power up a bit and try again when you think you can. Most healers arn't dumb enough to let you do this but the stratagy has been effective for me before I don't use animal form because most of the time I don't find myself fighting healers especially thickones due to the fact that most don't solo and sometimes when you attack one they just heal until their group zones in or someone comes to assist them.

Mages are tough and really different if a enchanter is skilled even useing every stifle stun signet/pot and whatnot mostlikly if you don't get the jump your toast. If they are good you won't get the jump and if you do you will be mezzed faster that you can say /sad panda. The hardest in my opinion is illys because their 3 trigger reflect kind of fucks us for oppertunity to get in damage between healing all the damage they are doing point is if they dont see you and are not engaged in pvp combat get your dots and as much damage on as you can before you engage because once they engage you will have to take down the 3 reflects by hitting yourself with level 1 nukes or your level 80 nukes if you want to be silly about it and hurt yourself more. To a good enchanter it is highly doubtful you will win they can produce more damage than we can heal most times and between juggling your serinty stifle signet freedom of action your going to be way to busy healing yourself to make them die.

Wizards you have to be careful with you want to get your dots under there manashield so when they manashield at 20-30% they will die anyway point of this battle is to hit hard and fast and be prepared to heal back to 100% as fast as you can use terrain to hidebehind while you heal always use your dots first they are fast and hit hard sometimes you will get oneshotted it happens this is why its very important to kill them quickly you don't nessarly want ice bolt doublespell attacking you for 9k. Cure elemental bad stuff that elemental are cure is fast if you are healing curing that might save you alot of heals and give you more time for dps. Manashield you either pumice or try your hand at seriene symbol or you can root snare and run around screaming like little girl for 30 seconds hiding and waiting for it to go away (be mindful most hit at 41 meters so get the fuck away if you choose this do this) what I don't suggest although you can do with a bad bad horrid awful wizard/warlock is just heal through inc damage and burn down the manashield i have done it before but they have to be horrible for this to work imo.

Conjy/Necro are usually easy unless you run into a promode player with great gear and then you have yourself a fight. A pro player playing a conjy i have to admit i have been destroyed by before they are just tough as shit if they are geared and know how to pvp suprizingly they have alot of tools stuns knockbacks stifles etc and a myth pet with the tso pet increasing items will do some decent damage plus it they pop there little planeshift and 3 pets on you consister yourself raped.

Necros How i hate fear really if they kill you your going to die to a lifeburn or a fear usually and they will kite the hell out of you most of the time they won't be hard they are a soft target and other than fear and stifle they can't just mezz you or stop you from attacking.

Pally Sk if they have good gear or even if they don't they are thick and do alot of damage pally will pretty much run you out of power if you arn't smart and a good sk is just tough. I really don't win against these classes much and if I do its because the player is bad in my opinion a crusader that is well geared and well played it a monster this expansion.

Other fighters treat them like scouts stay the fuck away watch out for chi it will rape your face alot have lycentropic bracelet and will use it so dont let them melee you if you dont have too because most especially brawlers can make that thing very painful. Thorn items are really good for these fights fighters have alot of saves and prevents so don't think they are dead when they are at 20% sometimes you have to kill the 2-3 times over before they are done and some like brawlers can heal once or twice and stoneskin like crazy.

Scouts is who you will fight the most so figure them out all of these are skills you learn through experiance there are alot of different playstyles this is mine and some might not agree. Ask everyone for there opinion go experiance pvp and draw from your experiances and what others have told you and make judgements for what works for you. I don't pvp as often as I used to and when I do its solo so all of these are experiances solo. If you are faction side i recommend carrying all signets and pumices as well as getting fear earring. You need to get crit mit now it increases our survivablity so much and adorn rings with health and wrists with parry. Carry thorn pots and power pots any toy that has a nasty control effect like justice cloak is a good toy to have. Anyway get out there try it and then write about your own experiances and post that stuff here for others to draw upon.

I just heal through it and they kill themselves on dmg shields and for the casters i just make myself immune to w/e i need to to keep myself at full hp and comense the slow beat down when mana ward/shield is down. Things change with gear, but i just cant stand to kite if i dont need power
