sadly you are wrong about raids
fury is, by far the least desired healer for raids atm

My warden doesn't have his mythical yet, nor do I have the heal stance, nor the AA buff for the group h.o.t. or single target spot heal, and I can still push 4k+ in hps indefinately on my warden, but my dps is limited to less than 1k even when I try simply because as what has been said, the warden heals very well, but that is all that they can do.

The fury can dps very well (my fury guildmate can push 4-5k dps in zones with encounters), and can heal very well, but they do not top the chart as the end all best in either of those categories. The combination of those two factors together means that the fury will really kick ass over any other healer in almost all typical situations and is probably where you will find your niche; doing both dps and healing.

The warden has the highest potential heal output, but they are limited at purely that as someone else has mentioned already. Once other healers get their good gear, the warden has no job anymore. The fury can solo heal very well also, and can push dps like a mage/warlock, so they will be desired for groups that have a good survivable tank and want less heals and more dps. Once more healers get their good stuff, the fury may be pushed out of the group sometimes (the warden will have already been ditched) purely because of the combination of buffs and the fact that wards preventing damage > druid healing life missing from the target's pool.

But thats just my 2cp worth.

heal parses mean shit, warden > fury for raiding though
i can tank all of current raid content with templar + warden as my healers, i actually prefer that combination over temp + shaman as a sk

furys dont have the raw healoutput to do this + they suck as single healers for dps grps because of lack of hp buffs/wards + their buffs suck compared to other healers

dont get me wrong, i love the fury class and have been raiding mine fore quite some time. furys can shine in instance groups but they suck for tso raiding

As that SK just said, we don't have the buffs to even be considered for raid. The only useful buff we get is Feral, and it's meant to benefit the classes we're not supposed to be in group with (except maybe one scout to get all the melee buffs the mages have).

Also, as he said, we don't really have that amazing of healing power, and the fact that we can't prevent damage, but only heal it makes us damn near worthless due to all the AEs that one shot most mages (the class we're supposed to be grouped with in raids).

A Cleric is 4 times more beneficial for the mage group than us because of their massive HP buffs to actually KEEP THEM ALIVE, and they have some extra utility (Divine Recovery) to help the mages even parse better. We can't even do that, and we're DESIGNED TO BE IN THAT GROUP.

So yeah, if you have to choose between Fury/Warden, then go Warden for pure raiding, but Furies, imo are a lot more fun to play. Just more useless than a Warden. If you aren't forced between the 2, go Templar. They're completely overpowered and are the best healer for anything in the game.

I truly have never had a problem getting a group with my Fury. I have very good friends that I group with a lot, and most have said that they would rather have a Fury healing & some dps'ing, than a Warden, any day. Of course it is very true about the cleric class, with their AA line, their TSO gear, they have awesome heal amount & heal crits.. They can out do us on single heals, any day, but our reuse time on our heals & our over all group heals come in very handy as well.

It comes down to what the group/raid wants really. If you enjoy your class, as I do, then stay with a Fury. I have played the Druid class since EQ 1 days & could not imagine playing anything else *as my main*. I love the healing class & the big booms that we have as well.

I also have played a druid class since EQ1 (Lanys T'Vyl to Seventh Hammer), then rolled my main as a fury when I made the switch to this game in 2004. She is my most favorite toon to play after trying others. I have folks who specifically ask me to group or raid, in guild and outside of guild. It really boils down to how you play your toon, and the reputation that follows you because of it.

equally skilled player playing any other healer is better for raiding aside from a warden... really doesnt matter if your doing last xpac stuff or t1 tso but even then any other healer is better than a druid...

The way I look at it is, I keep my groups (raid or single) alive, I put out decent DPS numbers and I love playing my fury. So, to me, fury is the best healer :p

I play on vox as a Q in the guild Circle of Heros.. I raid, instance, and pvp with no issues. iit takes knowing the zones, knowing the mobs, knowing the classes, and knowing how to play your fury.
I was originally a warden at 80..stop playing and came back and switched to Fury. I didn't like the class at first because I was so use to playing a warden. After being a Fury for the past couple months, I love the class. I always have a raid invite.

I don't dps the best because I am working on maxing my heal crit with gear and charms right now, but after i can self buff to 100 i'll work on getting more dps gear.

Playthe class you like and enjoy in my opinion
