well yes, but my point is that if you're full fabled stats are secondary compared to gear with procs and/or effects... look at mystical orb of the healer... arguably still one of the best healer earrings in the game and the stats are crap. i think we're on the same page.

i'm pretty sure we all agree the set bonuses are pretty useless for us. heres another question though...should they even really be that good? its pretty easy to get these items to begin with and on top of that you could make it to where the avatar loot isnt worth getting which IMO should be the best items in the game. so just throwing that out there for discussion.

I don't think set bonuses should be the end all to gear achievements; Avatar loot should be better. However, I do think that a full set of gear SHOULD be better than the benefit of a single piece of gear off an easy mob in FTH (wrist procs crit heals) or a relatively easy contested mob (boots off PHH, easy not from experience but from what I've seen). I also think that the Fury set bonuses should be at least on par with the bonuses from the other healers. Our 3 and 5 piece bonuses arne't just bad, they are TOTALLY useless and easily beaten by the legendary set bonuses. In fact, other than the +10 ministration, I'd rather have 2% crit heals and +50 to all dmg spells than Sym X.

Even if the Raging Storm set is supposed to be EoF starter gear, any fury that has the ability to get all 7 pieces will have upgrades to the set bonuses on INDIVIDUAL pieces of gear that make the set not useable BEFORE they get a set, even if they don't have access to contested mobs. Hollyhock diadem pwns not only the set helm but comes pretty close to the 7 set bonus and it drops off a mob that spawns on the way to getting a full set. A single drop in an instance shouldn't nullify the point of wearing a full set.

First off, I wear the Set for raw Power/Hps, and I will wear it until I get the drops I want. PHH Boots, Avatar Shoulders, and Hollyhock come to mind, though Hollyhock is actually very comparable to the class helm, as are the boots from PHH.

That being said, the set bonuses do fucking suck, Compare a Furies to the other healers. Hell, just compare to a Warden's

SoE will of course fix this problem....2 expansions from now. The bonuses suck, complete the set if you can, enjoy the raw stats, and pick up the upgrades when they drop, although I have been getting zero fucking luck on drops recently. We just got Relic 2.0d in every sense of the word. It sucks, but Furies still pwn all, so why get all worked up over bonuses that most of us wont be using soon anyway?

Ah, that made me chuckle. AMEN! Thank you so much.

I remember the first time I saw the Templar bonuses then compared them to mine. I almost cried.

Ok - yes the bonuses suck ass.

I want pictures - does anyone have a full set who can post a screenie. At least you can match and not look like some freakish hodge podge of armor. I want to see what the hat looks like - please tell me it's the nice wreath. Come on - someone has to have a pic - post it.

Bear heads were cool...if you liked walking around thinking OMG THIS BEAR IS EATING MY HEAD" and basically looked like a shamen. My favorite helm graphic is /hide helm
