Default question on shapeshifting

salutations folks, im new to the game and have decided on a fury as my main. Im curious how many different animal forms are there besides the wolf/tiger/treant/lion if any? and are there any abilities that change the basic look of each animal form? thanks in advance! 8)

The forms you have listed are part of your core set of buffs, that is their primary function, the shape change illusion is just additional fluff really..

If shape change is your thing though, there are plenty of spells around for it. They give no benefit apart from changing your appearance but here are a few examples...

Nature's Irate Form (Badger Form) Lvl 30

Call of The Fae (Faerie Form) at Lvl 35

Curse of the Unnatural (ugly monster thingy) at Lvl 40

etc etc

I believe the list of shape change illusion spells is quite large, you'll have to find out for yourself. Or perhaps someone here knows a good resource for looking them up?

thanks for the reply, i was speaking more in terms of shapes that give bonuses/benifits like the initial 3. but am i to understand that i could for example use my treeant form for the healing buff but cast the badger spell so i look like that instead?

My main reasoning for this thread is the god aweful look of the MDpS wolf....truly a bad graphic lol

Many people turn illusions off altogether and just stick with what ever their character looks like. But yes, you understand correctly. If you have multiple illusion spells it's possible to choose which form effects your appearance by changing the cast order.

There are also appearance slots that you can utilise, these allow you to appear as though you are wearing different armour and weapons to what you actually have equipped.

Welcome to EQ2 btw \o/

Truely you should head out to sinking sands and find A shady dervish merchant and stock up on \aITEM -104035662 -2009653081:an indiscernible murky solution\/a everyone wants to be a turkey.
