Default A little bit of help please.

I am a leader of a guild, and we have a new fury who has potential, but most players in our guild have not played the fury class. So its on the both of us to look up information about correct aa specs for raiding, gear and ect. The gear I have no problem figuring out which is best for which class, and so forth.

Its the aa's that I'm stumped. I've browsed your forums several times looking at different raid aa's even looked some furies up to see if I can get a better understanding why you went a certain way.

But like most of these class forums there is many opinions different ideas and so forth. So I figured instead of browsing hours and hours of forums looking and several aa specs (which I've done) I would just ask, and since so many are paticular to other furies giving you al a bad name I figured, meh you'll all probably toss me a bone here.

Any ways our Fury is in the Mage group. Setup is Lock, Wiz, Illi, Troub, Fury, Brig. We raid Tso content.

Now due to our lvl of progression we need our mage group healer/dpser up to speed asap. So I need some help on AA setup. Heres what I've been thinking, but not 100% if its right since i'm not a healer

Now looking at the Druid tree I'm looking at end line abilities, and tortoise I feel is a must for the mages since it seems TSO is nothing but a shit load of AE's, but I'm at a toss up on Serenity and Infusion. Not really sure on that one.

Now we move on to the Fury tree, not much in the tree totally impresses me. End line I'm thinking Animal form and Energy Vortex, but really have no clue to be honest.

Shadows I read the post but still different varibles to it.

So as you can tell I don't know this class that well, am tring to do my research, but need some advice.

Thanks in advanced

Oh yeah I do know a furies job is to Cure, Heal DPS and Cross heal so no I am not a total noob

Hey Galvin-
Here's what I did - you can take it with a grain of salt because I only have about 165 AAs and there are much better dpsing furies that post on here (although I do well enough and am in the mage group on our raids).

EverQuest II Players - Achievements for Tobaira

As much as I complain about having to take TS it's become a necessity so I respec'd to have it instead of Serenity. Although quite frankly I really never used Serenity anyways. Infusion is very important if you expect them to be doing dps and I have that as a base. I also try maxed out the heal and spell crit bonuses in the druid line.

The fury tree the main ends I have been going towards are Energy Vortex and Pact of Nature. Energy Vortex probably being more important although for me Pact of Nature trumped it when I did my last respec due to immediate needs. I definitely put points into enhancing damage spells and group buffs (about which there is a whole different thread about if you care to read).

For the shadow tree I went back and forth between the spell damage and healing increases. I do recommend Wrath of Nature for an extra dps spell to throw.

Ok thats just my 2 cents. There's plenty of others on here whom I aspire to be one day when I get more AAs, but I've done what I feel is best based on the points I have available. Feel free to send me a pm with any questions as needed =)

ps the thread Looking for AA Trees for a Fury has a link to three threads that go over AA specs in one of the responses which should give you some ideas too
