Oh okay. Well yes in that case may as well just call it a ward. I suppose the only difference is that if it was considered a temporary hp buff it wouldn't be modified by heal gear or critting. That is more of a balance issue. Doesn't matter though as we won't see anything like this implemented.

The only balancing issue that arises from giving furies wards is that they would be on par healing with ward classes which then accomplishes balance....but then its boring b/c everyone does the same shit.

So acting like giving every class wards is a balancing issue is a joke b/c if you actually want perfect balance everyone would have to have the exact same healing vehicle.

TBH they already gave away our group regens in the form of gear procs that we can't even use. So basically every healing class has group regens. The overall point is they need to make it silly to think wards are even an option when healing in pure dps group b/c they are inferior to what regen classes bring.

Well with any luck when they go into fixing us they do so with the thoroughness they did when they fixed crusaders and coercers. Really I don't crave to be super overpowered, but if I had to choose between that and being nearly completely obsolete, I'd go with being OP. What I absolutely don't want to happen is that they just give us bigger heals. This would be a half assed, bandaid, and most importantly ineffective approach to fixing the problem.

This is well said and I agree completely.

I'd like to see hibernation turned in to a ward but I doubt that will happen tbh. I doubt we'll even see an increase to our heal amount, but probably just a convoluted change to our single target hot as is currently planned. They'll call it "fixed" or "balanced" and who knows, maybe it will be for the new content. I hope so...
