Re: Cure scripts similar to a "Curing Mini-Game"
This is from EQ2Wire's review of Fan Faire.....
It is recognized that Curing is perhaps getting out-of-control. Casting time of individual cure potions may be considered. In addition, certain detriments are getting different effects on them such that curing that detriment can be worse than leaving it, or may cause another detriment to trigger. The intention was never to stare at the Profit Cure bar the entire fight.
So I see your point.... I can't figure out if this is a good thing or a bad thing. So instead of staring at the cure bar, we have to stare at the combat window to see WHICH detriment went off and figure out of we cure it or not.
I can see it now.... im in the mage group and a detrimental goes off. But it's one we DONT want to cure. But the mage gets upset I'm not curing him so he uses a pot which either AEs the group/raid or better yet, sets off 2 more detrimentals that kills him..... and then WE get the blame for not healing/curing him fast enough! lol
