How to deal with multiple encounter while soloing ?

My GF fury is only lvl 17 atm so dealing with a normal ven lvl multiple encounter is pretty easy. She can just melee them all with a few self healing.

But I know that she is not going to be able stay in the melee range of any even lvl mobs and stay alive at higher lvl.

So I am wondering if fury do get some kind of spell to deal with them ? Do you get some AoE root or anything ?

Or you do simply stay away from multiple encounter while soloing ?

If it says Heroic, you don't engage. If it's a solo encounter with multiple mobs, then you just melee it and you win.

It actually gets easier at higher levels, well its easier at 80 primarily due to ball lightning. You just lay down ball lightning and sunrise, those along with your thorns and just keep yourself healed and throw any dps you can inbetween.

But furies aren't the best class at soloing heroic mobs especially if they are higher lvl.

k well nice then I thought she couldnt solo regulare multiple mobs hehe.

For heroic she will just wait for me to log on (I play an SK).

In later levels you get some nice aoe abilities... Ring of Fire, Call of Storms (nice but can land you in trouble), Starnova and Ball Lightning. Group encounters (within reason) cease to be a problem and are where your dps will start to shine (for a healer). Early on though yep, just melee and heal i suppose.

The fury does get a root and a snare which both come in handy for tough mobs, although i cant remember at what levels they first appear. It takes quite a bit of skill to play a fury well (not claiming anything for myself there), so make sure you pay attention to what you're doing and you'll pick it up fast enough.
