Default Heal Spec & DPS Spec

Howdy yall,

I am looking for some suggestions with 2 different specs, so i can maximize my grouping and such.

Would to know some ideas on a primary heal spec, I think I know the dps spec, but any thoughts would be nice.

I curretnly have 182 AA

Thanks for your time

Honestly there is no "heal spec" or "dps spec". there's just one spec you should bother with with a little wiggle room for certain paths in the fury tree.

You will end up with enough AA to take the most useful of the damage and heal aa's in the TSO tree.

I don't carry a "heal spec" and a "DPS spec", we're a hybrid class and should spec accordingly imho. You could, for example, carry one Grouping / MT healage spec (focussing on single heals, Feral Shadow AA, Mitigation AA), and one Raid (non-MT heal) spec where single heals are of subordinate importance but you could/should have the +HP buff on Lucidity. In any case there's more than enough headroom to boost almost all the DPS points in the Shadow tree. The Fury tree doesn't contain a lot of useful stuff for healing anyway, and I have a fixed AGI (+endline)/STA/INT (+endline) setup for the Druid tree.

i'm spec'd for both. i have points to maximize my group and i's dps, as well as my group heals; which are one reason furys are so amazzzing. i only have like... 176 cause i'm lazy but i did respec a billion times to get both endlines which i switch in and out along with an entire set of gear depending on the situation. wearing dps gear + dps endline is a lot of fun. but if you have to buckle down you can wear heal gear + heal endline. or if its just whatever, mix em up and its just nice to be able to change whenever. i feel like as a fury you should be able to. and if youre soley dps or heal, youre wasting your potential :D

99% of the time, the heal stance is useless. It leave way too much downtime on our regens to keep the tank alive. It's good for dealing with spike damage... but that's about it.

The thing is, with the Fury and TSO trees there's basically only one reasonable spec with a tiny amount of wiggle room. And with the Druid tree, if you're specing for STA or WIS... you're plain doing it wrong. Basically, whether you're healing heavily or dpsing heavily (or both) your AA's are the same.

I carry a variety of gear I swap out depending on the situation. I'll even swap to treant form instead of winter wolf if i feel i need the extra heal crit... but that's where the differences between heal-heavy, and dps-heavy are. Gear and a tiny bit in buffs. Ideally, with the right gear you won't even have to swap more than a couple of items if any at all.

i disagree that it's useless. i'm a fan of the casting speed improvement on heals when squishies go down and group cures. and i'm only rarely in the mt group so /shrug. and the downtime isnt as bad considering we're healing for more theoretically. once i have the rest of my aas, most likely spent in the various heals i skipped around, it wont make a huge difference. but i personally like heal stance for solo healing. i think it depends on the rest of your setup.

You might actually want to take a real hard look at what the heal stance actually affects as far as cast speed. It does NOTHING for cure cast speed. It ONLY affects HEAL casting speed.

when ur solo healing in this xp, u want shit ticking ALL the time for the inc ae's so u have a chance to cure them up & bring them back to full before the next one hits...that's when heal stance ESPECIALLY sucks. all the downtime with the heal stance on the group hot makes that impossible unless u have MASSIVE amounts of reuse gear...so...no...
