Wrath of Nature/EV
I couldn't find this addressed anywhere already, but I decided to finally stop being lazy and test stuff, but It looks to me Energy Vortex doesn't not affect Wrath of Nature.
Anyone know if this is intended or can verify this to me not being bugged?
Base Damage, Crit Bonus, and Spell Damage Modifiers work on it, but not Energy Vortex.

it's never worked on it because gab tested it out back when myths came out. it looks like POSSIBLY the najena ring works on it though because my defiler friend was flippin bout a 7k heal mod & the only thing that i did diff was use my ring. he said somethin bout miracles too (he was sol ro when he tested it way back when) but tbh, i cant remember if he said it was applied or not.

Re: Wrath of Nature/EV
pretty sure he is talking about the tso AA encounter nuke and no ev didnt effect it back when tso lunched, I just figured it was coded differently than a spell with being able to cast on the run and such.

Re: Wrath of Nature/EV
Its just beyond bizarre if you ask me.
Take infusion for instance, which is where I think their logic is coming from, it is effected by base damage, but not BOE or EV. The only reason I'm lumping that in their is b/c its a AA line ability.
The reason it bothers me is it tells me EV is not calculated as either base damage or even BOE...so wtf is it?
Does any fury have close to 100% base damage? With at least 1 spell?
Even if you have 70% you can calculate whether or not your still getting a 40% increase when popping EV.
What I'm getting at is maybe EV completely changes our spells to do more damage...completely out of a base damage multiplier, which once again could be tested b/c in theory base damage should then be more effective when EV is up, but I'm at work and can't test it atm.
Thanks for putting up with my free association typing. Just spewing out possibilities so I can check this later and remember what I was thinking.

i did a lot of testing on this awhile ago when i was raiding, EV counts as base but its own base, all other base effects take priority then EV. Shitty thing is it still maxes out at 100%... Most of my spells were maxed in base before i quit and hitting ev did nothing more than cut heals in half...
