official word about druid changes

just in case somebody hasnt seen this. we FINALLY got a dev post about the druid overhaul. i have to admit, i literally squealed when i read it...now to wait & see what they actually do. it sounds like druids r gonna be like the sk's of the sentinel's fate. it's a MUCH long overdue redo because our spells have not changed since the start of the game, with the exception of the feral aa.

That post has so much truthiness in it...althought it was probably a lot longer than that. Far as I know druid buffs started to become worthless even as early as EOF (though I didn't play then).

id bet dps will drop big time, if they follow through with all that... if not furies would be amazing..

tbh, as long as we become raid desired, i dont care if our dps takes a hit.

Oh and I WILL NOT be a believer until I see the changes. I didn't realize just how bad off druids were until I started playing a mystic. And druids are so overwhelmingly outmatched atm it will take a lot to make them desireable again.

Honestly.... I wouldn't be willing to take a DPS hit. I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to provide desirable utility while still being able to DPS like we currently can.

Is there any official word on when we're going to see these changes implemented? I don't want to be waiting another 8 months for this..

It'd be nice to see this before the next xpack. That way we don't have to get used to being changed AND new content at the same time.
