I'm doing more serious raiding with my Mystic and have difficulty keeping the necro up due to how slow the heals cast.

just another update for some items i dont think ive see mentioned and quick fixes.

the /useabilityonplayer macro does not work completely correctly. When you setup numerous heals for one macro it will cast all the spells but only the first one que'd will land on the target u are implying. I'll try and make a fix for it this weekend and im sure there is already so if anyone has it post it. Otherwise its a 3 day weekend so ill try and figure something out.

I wasnt really sure where to post this in the scheme of our threads but decided to put it here. With all the new reductions in casting timers through AA, group player abilities and items. All furies need to be very careful with the speed in which they cast hibernation spell. If you refresh this spell before the 10second timer trigger it will have no effect whatsoever. I know this has been a problem for awhile, but at this time i see it is worse than ever. This applies mostly to people using the infusion AA i would be guessing, but realize if you are using hibernate to help get xtra heals on groups there is a tendency to want to get it up as fast as possibly but wait just long enough so that the previous hibernate has a chance to proc.

Thanks Widem. I've noticed the problems with /usea and made some personal work arounds thinking I was just an idiot. Mainly I've noticed in working out the best way to help the life-burning necro's.

I tried to set up a necro macro and can not figure out how to get the second spell to go off (with /useabilityonplayer). The second heal macro'd refuses to even cast. How annoying. I wonder if this has to do with the "fix" they put in to prevent you being able to use this ability while taunted by a mob. In any case, it does seem broken as you are supposed to be able to have 2 spells in a macro.

yeah thats the problem i just posted...all i can say is ill look into it later but if anyone can find a solution that would be great b/c dunno when ill be able to .

In all honesty i dont like the notion of a lifeburn macro but that just me. I feel that if the timing was off in the slightest that much of the macro could be wasted. I think its just one of those things that needs the human touch to get the most out of bolstered necro lifeburning.

So is the problem with the macro system or the cueing system?

My Mystic has the enchanced SoW (Yea for respecing while drunk). If I equip JBoots, I get 50% run speed. For long runs, I have a macro that equips JBoots and casts SoW on myself. 2-boxing, I SoW the Fury and if the spell isn't ready when I use the macro, I'll end up SoW'ing my target. If the spell has refreshed, the macro functions just fine.

Although I usually have to raid with the Mystic and don't get a Necro, what I've worked out with a guildmate is a macro that fires Hibernation and then targets the Necro for direct heals.

You can't properly queue useabilityonplayer commands. That is why you are having problems.

well my temporary fix until i can find something better is...

stop the macro after first spell lands by hitting esc tehn just hit same hotkey again. havent really had time to test stuff but while raiding that has been working fairly well with minimal time lost. sorry havent come up with something better atm, but hey afro engineering ftw.
