i think his point was that a furys optimal situation for using the staff happens about 1% of the time so its hardly even something that should be on your wishlist, much less a must have.

We have healer loots drop like crazy as of late so many of the other classes have not had enough dkp to keep up with when items like this drop.

Hit the nail on the head. I wouldn't pick it up unless I was the last healer to get it... just doesn't fit the way I play and there are other healers that would make tons more use of it than I ever would.
