Yes, I was replying to you; and if you have used everything I mentioned I think 4k is the *low* end of the scale so I don't know where you're getting only 3.6k damage from.

And no, I don;t think it is possible to get a 10k thunderbolt *without* vortex considering vortex increases all our damage by 50%

another question
has someone calculated the mana consumed for infusion?
also i guess this portion is used for each hit, rather than just for the proc to go off, regardless of how many hits it produces?

the mana consumed will be variable on your disruption skill. what disruption does is lower the mana cost of disruption based buffs IE infusion is a disruption based buff that costs power on every proc. it is also suspose to make resists less frequent, but have yet to see disruption matter at all in this area.

when you proc infusion on a heal spell whether it goes of 1 time or 6 it charges you the set power amount 1 time per beneficial spell you cast.

Easily tested against gray mobs while standing outside a raid.

Solo
Power at 7970
disruption 387
int 685

mellee a gray mob to start encounter. Use a group conc buff which costs no power to kick off a infusion proc.

Power after use 7958/7970

12 power for 1 infusion proc.

Grouped with an SK. He had no buffs up. Int, Disruption, Power same as above.

Cast a group conc buff after mellee engaging a gray mob.

Power after use 7943/7970

27 power for 2 infusion procs.

Did this a few times and had the exact same info every time.

power is consumed per proc. not per buff.

If I were a fury, I'd spec to full dps. If I played a fury in a raiding guild, I'm pretty sure I'd be capable of the "healing" part of my class well enough that I can make myself do something better that I lack of.
