OK EQ1 Epic 1.0
In its day this had mid-high end stats, bad resists, but the effect was a dot spell. This spell was 3 times greater per tic then any other DoT the druid had.
Now for the Epic 2.0
Staff of Living Brambles: MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO DROP

Effect: Nature's Blight(Must Equip. Casting Time:0.8)
Recast Delay: 10 minutes. Recast Type:6
Diffuses your target's mystic protection, allowing direct damage spells to do more damage to them.
Focus Effect: Silence of the Snake
Causes creatures to be less hateful to any heal or damage spell that you cast.
So by looking at the 2.0 we can see it had a castable massive debuff allowing others to do more damage to the target. We can also see it had dehate on it.
Now I didnt play with the epic2.0 back in the day so im not sure of its value.
Everquest 2 : Looking forward.
Ok so lets take what we know as furys. Heal procs are not good they are too small, and not reliable, damage procs are nice but again dont really add to our dps signifcantly. When eq2 launched the furys role in a group was to increase the damage potential of his group. We had alot of melee based procs and also some resist debuff spells for nukes. As DoF and EoF came out and we got new spells and AA's it became clear that we had been geared to fast recovery healers with high damage potential of all the healers. We had been designed to be multi tasked.
Our Heals were never enough to fully recover a tanks HP we had been designed to stop the loss of HP and hold the tank up until the larger Shamen and Cleric heals could land and bring the tank green, also we were given some of the best group heal spells...fast and strong spells.
Our DPS...not enough to compete with a scout or mage, but enough to make a difference when you had to really burn something.
Epic concepts
So looking forward to the EQ2 Fury Epic....tough call.
So far I was thinking of something geared to our shapeshift ability. ie (winterwolf = X effect) (Treeshape = Y effect) (Tiger = Z effect) this would allow the fury to continue their multi role support .
We could go with a Nature's Rage type effect that ties back to our massive T5 melee buffs we use to have.
We could go with a high % high hp heal proc (meh) or even a PBAOE Regen heal ( Oo neat huh)
We could go with a hostile spell effect that would cover all of our nukes in 1 blanket effect for increasing our dps.
That my intial thoughts and concepts...gonna think some more and give you all a chance to chime in.
