Other priests got bonuses as far as I can see, no nerfs.

Most other healer classes got buffs if they where changes at all.

Inquisitor got more dps bonuses.

Templar got a nerf to blessings AA.
Wardens knockback immunity looks like it got nerfed removed. It might be a buff however. Not sure if I am reading it right.

A nerf to furies overall.

If the casting skill reductions are changed to be meaningful, I may not see this as a nerf... like if it made ae's resistable or something lawl. Otherwise I find it pretty lame that they would simply nerf for the sake of nerfing (which they did to many classes). 50% to 40% seems like there was no thought put into it, as does reducing the range on the swashbuckler reach line by 1... just nerfing for the sake of nerfing.

If our debuff is still worthless, then I'm slightly annoyed that they'd actually buff other priests who do maybe 25% less dps than we do, but who also do said dps using little to no power. The other priests also have other useful features such as larger heals, buffs that matter, and debuffs that matter.

All that said, it is a minor nerf, will maybe be a 1-2% reduction in zonewide dps... but it was a pointless one. They are trying to make our awful hinderance and recovry lines more sought after by nerfing our energy line... that won't work.

Edit: I should also clarify that I exclude Wardens from my "other priests" comments, because Wardens just suck

  • Enhance: Feral Tenacity: Improved reuse speed bonus from 40 to 60 seconds per rank.
Not to bad, I have 3 points in this and I use DI alot so its nice to get some lovin here.
  • Enhance: Hibernation: Increased heal trigger from 10% to 15%.
This is nice for those whom use it...doesnt really change it enough for me to spend AA on it. Those who do use it will be happier.
  • Pact of Nature: no longer mentions that your Salve lines of spells are disabled. Salve spell granted is slightly more power efficient than before.
Meh big whoopie,
  • Enhance: Fae Fire: Fixed casting speed bonus to properly improve by 0.2 seconds per rank.
Speed casting was never an issue for this spell...its the reuse timer...so these AA's wont be used by most raiders...no big deal here.
  • Kudzu: Has a 25% to also root the target with each hostile spell.
PVP skill dont care.
  • Energy Vortex: Reduced bonuses from 50% to 40%.
Its not a big nerf but a nerf none the less.

I cant help but wonder why however...the average fury doesnt parse all that high. I cant help but wondering if all the furys here and on players posting about high dps numbers influenced this nerf. Normally nerfs dont happend for no reason...im worried if this is the start of the fury nerf bat swinging our way in RoK.

They changed a number of end-line AA that do significant dmg quickly (manaburn, lifeburn and EV all took hits) and if the power increase and the heal decrease got reduced to 40% the nerf is even smaller really. Other than healers most classes took some sort of hit so its not like the singled us out exactly. Most fury don't parse that high zone-wide but we can do some serious dmg with EV if we don't have to heal. Think about the spells getting upgraded in RoK and all I see is DPS DPS DPS so if they planning to nerf us at all it would have to be in AA.

You know next month it's going to be "Removed recast reductions from the energy line"

Then "slightly decreased the damage of thunderbolt and starnova"

But it's ok guys! "Increased Maddening swarm reduction by 1% per rank"!

I actually thought the same thing, Slix. Like we need another forum to fight and brag with eachother lolz. The devs are watching what the top 10% of all classes are doing, and ignoring the rest, I guess.

Yeah the whole dev's watching for imbalances does happen look at brigs lol. But yeah After reading other nerfs I am betting more on the RoK spell lineup nerf.

They do this every teir, nerf the old so they can make new slightly better then what the old stuff use to be. It lets them upgrade and balance all at once, even though it sucks.

time will tell :p

My bad, they changed it in the recent test update to 50% healing reduction, 40% spell damage and power cost.
