Hello Furies, from a new fury :)
Greetings everyone
I am new to EQ2 and rolled a Fury as my staring char. I'm currently lvl 23 and had a few questions, well...actually I'd like some insight as to where best to put my AA points as far as lvl'ing purposes go?
Btw- I play mostly solo with some occasional groupings, I'm always the healer, but that usually goes without saying so far.
Any thoughts, reccomendations and banter would be great!
Thanks a bunch,
And
-Edit Currently I've stacked all my points thus far into this wis tree for max power - Survivability issues. I'm sure I'm prob mistaken, although if I thought I was right, why the hell would I post this?
Thanks again everyone.

If you praticly never group id aim for root/snare ability as well as Energy vortex , you dont need healing power with snares and root. Also int line for spell crits and disruption is a must.
Hope this helps.

i am assuming since the character in question is level 23 that they dont have the option to get energy vortex.
how many AA do you have at this point in time?

At lower levels, the charm animal might be fun to mess around with.
I guess my question would be how do you plan on using the toon? You want to level right now quickly but are you going to stay with grouping and playing more for fun or will you plan on raiding, because the set ups for both vary quite a bit.

Re: Hello Furies, from a new fury :)
Most of my time is spent soloing, I am in no real "hurry" to level persay, as I'd like to take in most of the game and not miss anything.
But, on the occasion I do group, I fall into the role of healing.
Hard to say later on what my role will be, as that is so far down the line.
As of this moment I have 9 AA points, all of which are in the wis tree.
I guess what I'm looking for is a survivability factor, since I spend most of my time alone.
I appreciate all the feedback, you guys are most kind.
Regards,
And

Re: Hello Furies, from a new fury :)
If you're going to mostly solo then IMO the Energy line (shortens nuke/dot casting times and recasts) on the EoF tree and then the INT line (spell crits) on the KoS tree should be your first objectives. IMO for soloing, Furies heals are good enough not to need any AA enhancements, so long as you get the atleast ad3. You should be able to take any solo encounters without healing if you have energy/int lines. If you do get a group, you'll still be able to solo heal any heroic instance/dungeon.
Also if you can get hold of lots of heal proc gear as you level, Animal Form (stifles you, but gives you 100% haste and regens power on a successful melee attack) on the EoF tree is very useful for self power regen, though probably far more useful on PvP servers then PvE.
The root/snare lines are nice, but probably only necessary if you intend to solo heroic stuff later on. root/nuke is a waste of time on solo mobs.

As for your second KoS line to take, I myself am also undecided. I currently have the STR line for double attack, and a high damage/long delay weapon. (Works well with Animal form when you switch to a low delay weapon with a nice heal proc...good damage output, heals and power regen)
