The Avatar Earring you are talking about is off spell attack. There is no earring off of avatars with a proc on beneficial spells.

ah kay. i just saw it recently & couldnt remember exactly what the effect was. i just remembered seein thought retrieval as one of them.

just looked both the hat & earring up. well that's stupid. same effect name but 1 procs off beneficial spells (hat) & 1 off of spell attacks (earring). that's why i got confused.
