    The damage I've seen from it isn't great, but the heal component is significant on par with our other single target heals, I'll switch my ACT over to monitor beta to post some numbers, but visually i saw it healing for 20k+ per use.

    Think of it as a spot heal that automagically goes to the person in the raid closest to dying without having to select the person and it happens to have a meh dps component.

    It's useless for stable fights because there are better dps options. But, it would be useful during those times where something is falling apart outside of the mage group.

    It's a spell for lazy healers in my opinion. It benefits the tunnel vision healers who always target through a tank and only use group heals for healing anyone else and never spot heal out of group.

    The spell would be remotely useful if you just could declare a primary target for it and it attached a small heal/ward, similar to Protective Instinct with its 30% of the damage dealt. If that were the case, than I would make MT/OT my primary target and use it as a true emergency heal/ward when needed.

    Maybe not depending on the range of the heal. If it works like the Templar's grand intercession which's zw (unless they changed it since I played my temp), it could be nice for a spiking mt as an on shit depending on the cast time of the nuke. A time when ud normally hit him with fray but he's out of range. A lot of time the mt group is somewhere else & ur just in range for dmg on the named, way outta heal range of the tank himself. I'm not saying it's a good spell but could be interesting to test with as an oh shit.

    Stormbarrier rank 1 of 3 (increases to 21% with 3 ranks)
    Stormlord rank 1



    Lighting Siphon rank 1 of 3. Judging based on the next increase at 3 ranks it will heal the same as Nature's Elixir VIII (83) grandmaster 12000 - 15000 (tool tip amount)

    Testing the amount healed by Control the Storm rank 3.
    Tooltip amount rather close to heal on group cure for refence.
    on cast healling at 9500 to 10500 a target hit. same stats as above with 280 crit bonus before procs.

    This is it really. You'r not even guaranteed to heal the person you need to heal.

    Its just assuming the lowest person is the most important, which is just lol dumb.

    The xtra spells are of very little benefit to dps either. On a strict AE fight when factoring the new AE it would only come up in my rotation ever 24 seconds....and thats with no lag or cures or healing. I can see it never being cast outside dropping another spell entirely...most likely starnova, but then your still degrading the ability of spells.

    I'm not understanding why they thought "You know that class that never has hostile spells down? Lets give them more."

    The random heal component if they keep it would do better just being stuck on Thunderbolt. and stormbreakers fury....i mean w/e.

    i've done a post on the myth cloak thread on the beta boards to try to get the druid cloaks changed since theyre both terribad. theyre also the only subclass that's exactly the same for both sides, like they ran out of ideas & said yeah just copy & paste that for both of them. & let's get some more posts on our prestige thread! i personally havent had much time to lvl, let alone test, then post my findings because of work. i KNOW there r others that have though, so get to it!

    also if u know any wardens that can post on the cloak thread, that would be awesome since our cloaks r EXACTLY the same...horrid
