    Default Stat Priorities and Soft Caps/Diminishing Returns

    Hey Guys,

    Haven't played since RoK, picking it back up and getting my Fury to 95. Are there current fairly accepted stat priorities for Furies? Or is it mostly up to play style, personal preference? Also, does anyone have a link to the soft caps/diminishing returns for each stat?

    Well if you haven't played since RoK your going to see a big difference

    Firstly you no longer need agi, str or int priests only need sta and wis. Sta gives you 10 HP for very point and Wis gives you 10 power for every point, also wisdom increases your damage on a diminishing return but basically the more you get the better.

    Crit Chance (CC)
    All mobs basically debuff your CC, having 100% CC doesn't mean you'll crit anymore I would recommend 380 CC for the current tier and if you plan to raid you will possibly need 400-450 cc depending on the level. CC is only avaliable on cloaks, necks, primary, secondary, 2handers, ranged and charms but the amounts are very high and you can still have a number of adorns for cc on your gear.

    Casting speed
    You need at least 100% casting speed this caps out your spells at 50% of the original, however if you go over 100% you get a small return on spell double attack.
    100: 0.00%
    200: 0.75%
    300: 1.50%
    400: 2.25%
    500: 3.00%

    Reuse speed
    You need 100% reuse speed. Ability reuse and spell reuse stack on spells only so if you have 80% ability reuse and 20% spell reuse your spells will be capped but any combats arts, etc won't be

    Recovery speed
    This caps out at 100% and will reduce your recovery to 0.25 seconds, bards typically spec for recovery speed however this won't cap recovery on its own.

    Skill cap
    This refers to focus, disruption, ministration, ordination and subjugation. Skill cap = 6.5 * level so for lvl 95 this would be 617.5
    Crushing, slashing piercing and ranged are tested against the targets defense and parry, the player need 100 more skill than the mobs defense to get the maximum accuracy
    Focus can allow movement on casting at the follow stats
    +100: 5%
    +200: 10%
    +300: 15%
    +400: 20%
    +500: 25%
    +600: 30%
    +700: 35%
    +800: 40%
    +900: 45%
    +1000: 50%
    Also both the spell and weapons stats can add damage on the following numbers
    +100: 2%
    +200: 4%
    +300: 6%
    +400: 8%
    +500: 10%
    +600: 12%
    +700: 14%
    +800: 16%
    +900: 18%
    +1000: 20%

    Ability modifier
    Increases the base damage/heal of a spell/ca/heal by 50% of the minimum damage
    To work out how much you need you use
    Ability mod = min spell damage/2
    so if you had a spell that hit for 50K
    Ability mod = 50/2
    Ability mod = 25
    Remember to work this out prior to gear/aa etc

    Just in case you want to melee

    Haste/attack speed
    Haste has a cap of 200 however if you go over it converts to flurry:
    200: 0%
    300: 1.46%
    500: 2.87%
    700: 4.2%
    900: 5.5%
    1200: 6.73%

    DPS
    DPS mod has a soft cap of 200 after which it has a diminishing return
    200: 125%
    300: 135%
    500: 145%
    700: 155%
    900: 165%
    1200: 175%

    Multi-attack (MA)
    This would have been double attack in RoK but it can now hit for more than 2 times. MA has a soft cap of 600 and gives diminishing returns after
    100: 1
    200: 2
    300: 3
    400: 4
    500: 5
    600: 6
    1000: 7
    1600: 8
    2300: 9

    AE Auto-attack
    AE auto-attack allows you to attack upto 7 additional targets in front of you and caps at 100%

    Hopefully this covers everything you need for now

    was about to ask Ros to either : redo it with some color etc
    or sticky it, or redo it myself, but i dont want to take credit !

    Nice guide! You can add waists and some dropped mounts from heroic/raid mobs to the list of CC gear.

    I can't edit the post don't have rights but can make a new post if you want fiora
