Default Question on Ferine Vim

Ok...

I get requests from a variety of people for Vim. My question is, whois the better choice?

The Warlock who is at 650ish Int
The Ranger who is at 300ish Int (for poison damage)
The Brigand who is at 200ish Int (For poison damage)

The warlock argues that the additional INT doesn't help him terribly, but the additional power is what he is after

The Brigand and Ranger argue that more damage will be done with poisons as they are using mental breech which will keep them in power and will be able to sustain DPS throughout the fight so the extra INT helps them with the Hemo/Caustic damage.

I have my own thoughts on this but I was wondering who the other raiding furies out there would give the vim to:

Typical Group:

Fury
Warlock
Necromancer
Necromancer or Illusionist
Ranger or Brigand
Troubadour

Thanks in advance for posting your thoughts!

order of operations: Sorcerer, Yourself, Ranger, Summoner Mage pet. At this point you will be running out of buffs.

from your group set up id throw out warlock, yourself, Necro mage pet, ranger.

wouldnt the group benefit more if the trouby had more INT insted of the other scout, so the proc on POTM and Aria of Acclamation would be higher?

not sure what would dish out more overall dps, id have to parse and see

unless recently and i mean very recently changed this is a myth and is not true.

last time this came up a month ago i tested who governed the proc damage and it was not the troub but the individual.

A myth that has been going on since LU13 that has been disproved every time, but people still believe it.

If your Illusionist is the DPS variety, I'd prioritize him/her over the summoner pet. Reason being it's easier for them to have enough power while also keeping it under 30% with the extra ~1000 you give them; also since 100% of their spell damage is from them, like sorcerers, they get the bigger benefit (even with diminishing returns).

If the Warlock has only 650INT with your primal spirit up, then I would disagree with him and say that Vim would benefit him terribly :P

650 int is self buffed on the warlock.
The Coercer usually is over 800 with Primal Spirit up

Seems like a dps group so based on that grp I would:

Primal (5AA) Grp Buff
Hunt Grp Buff
Pred (yourself)
SotB (yourself)
Animal Form (yourself)
Vim (yourself)
Vim (warlock)
Vim (ranger)
Agitate (Brig)

Ranger's posion crits will get better with int and the +208 int a primal + vim can give will help alot.

Warlock will goto 850Int the +mana from vim and the bonus mana from int stat will help him a bit.

Brigand Primal int will help some but rangers cannot proc agitate on ranged so they never get it, the brig should be happy with agitate.

If you want to....you CAN drop hunt grp buff for another Vim to a mage or necro pet if you want.

My view on pets is watch to see if it dies alot...if is pet is dying ever aoe or every 2nd aoe screw it dont buff the pet. The time lost rebuffing will lower reaction time to spike dmg, grp dmg or cures and half the time you will forget to rebuff the pet anyway.

The way I see it with a necro is I am dedicated to keeping him green during his 100's of lifeburn inc tells so he isnt getting a Vim on the pet, I toss the Vim to another person.

Also with illusionist grps and multiple mages dont vim the mage with Time compression.

I dont like it when grps mega buff 1 person to stack them up on dps, so i like to balance my buffs. The choice is yours
