Default Command and UI questions.

1. How do I permanently disable the popup windows you get now when you mouseover any item, spell etc in your hotkey bars. They've driven me nuts since the day they were released and interfere with my gameplay. I heard there was a command or file you could modify to disable this but I've never been able to find it.

2. Where to get a better raid window UI than the default one or the one provided with the Fetish nitefall UI (not even sure that UI set replaced the default). I want one that can be made smaller, these all the window itself to be shrunk, but not the group elements within the window. I just want a smaller raid window that shows all the raid groups and that I can set to be 2 x 2 instead of only 1 x 4.

3. What file do I delete to get rid of the chat windows provided with Fetish nitefall UI - they are driving me insane - they do this amazingly annoying thing where you have to put your mouse ontop of them before you can type or else it looks like you are typing over text already in the window and then you can't read what you are typing, and you can type a bunch of errors if your fingers are on the wrong keys. I just want chat windows where I can reduce the text size and resize the windows without the thing trying to outsmart me and make all kinds of adjustments on its own.

Thanks

Dang, they posted the switch for that. While on Test? In the Patch notes?

I've only had 3 hours sleep thanks to baby, or I could probably find it in under a minute.

1. I don't remember how I disabled them, but I'm pretty sure it's in options under user interface, and tooltips. If you just click around on all those, you'll find the settings you like. And to remove the comparison tooltips, "/cl_chain_tooltips 0" is what you want to add to your eq2.ini

2. I use a simple custom UI for the raid window. Which btw, you can just resize around to make it 2x2, it also doesn't have the annoying background colors so you can see through it, and not get annoyed by the pink, blue, purple, orange or whatever colors exist in the raid window. Grab it here.

3. Try moving eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml out of wherever you had fetish install to gain the old chat window back, which does what you want.

Thanks Calaglin. BTW, you qualified for a custom title based on five referrals like 2 weeks ago. Please post in Hall of Fame section with what you want.

EDIT: I picked one for you, just let me know if you'd like something different instead.

Thanks
