Sometimes saying IBTL is a shortened version of - "Your post is mindless drivel and should go away." That's a decent response. It's probably filtered in some way that flags the post to the mods.

Taea I can agree but just saying IBTL is lazy. If they can't post something more entertaining than that sit down and let somebody who can.

Now I won't argue I think Echgar probably has better things he can be doing...but I have a feeling somebody reported that or he wouldn't be there.
