WinEq2 doesn't address the resource problem or the rigid character-to-client tieing.

Actually have you tried it? Interspace is the program which works hand in hand with wineq that addresses the resource problem, learn to read... I now 4 box off one pc and have no problems when running interspace.

Truth be told Wineq isn't against the EULA because your controlling all toons at once. It would be like using multiplex with different monitors except they are consolidated in one. It doesn't enhance your game play or help you cheat in anyway. Its the solution for your resource problem..

I'd like to know what resources you're talking about. I think you're on a different planet.

It is kosher right until you start automating.

Taken from the site:

Inner Space is the one and only neutral platform for third-party development inside DirectX games, and it is available exclusively to our Gaming Tools Pro subscribers!

Inner Space is a layer between Windows and games. Within this layer, programs written for Inner Space can safely perform nearly any task inside the game, with access to both standard Windows API and libraries, as well as the systems built into Inner Space. Inner Space provides systems for automation (scripting), input emulation, customizable user interfaces, bindable input (hotkeys), dual monitor support, and that's just scratching the surface!

The Inner Space Kernel provides a foundation consisting of an XML-based GUI, scriptable command shell, .NET programmability and a development kit for extending the feature set. The main program, called the Uplink, is used to launch games with Inner Space attached, called Sessions. Sessions work by introducing a layer between the game and Windows, which allows great ability to modify or interact with the game.

Autofollow and Keybinding isn't breaking the EULA.

This program was wildly popular in EQ1, and I used it then because they had another program that would drop resources of the window in the back to almost nil without losing anything (the char could still easily autofollow and not fall behind from graphics lag at such low resources). It was great. Coming to EQ2, that program didn't work for EQ2, so I stopped using it.

It doesn't do anything against the rules. All it does is modify how your computer handles each individual instance of the game. It in no way modifies the game. It allows you to switch with a single hotkey (which is hot) rather than alt-tab, and with the resource program that Hastely mentions (I don't know if it actually works cuz as I said, I no longer use WinEQ) it makes it so you can run high graphics if that's your cup of tea.

The main reason WinEQ was even born was "back in the day" you couldn't play EQ1 in windowed mode. They said it was because it took away from the immersion /rolls eyes. So you couldn't access browsers or IM's or anything! There was EQwin first, (or something like that) which was "banned" until the EQ devs created their own windowing functionality, then they removed anyone that was banned for using it.
