This is the problem/perk of a DKP guild, no preferential treatment based upon class/personality/length of service as a member.
Everything is based upon raid attendance and saving or not saving DKP for the gear you want.
Don't like it? Leave that guild.

That's called selectively enforcing rules. DKP means you earn points, and you spend it as YOU see fit, not as your neighbor thinks you should.

ok fine.. why dont you start roling on items with heal procs.. see waht healers say.. why dont you epuip the ear that procs hate from EH or where ever see how far that goes.. i mean you have the DKP who cares if your a dumbshit fucktard for doing it.
IT"S REALLY simple BARDS ARE A DPS CLASS AND HAVE FULL RIGHTS TO DPS GEAR.

If I felt that i needed those items, you better fuckin believe I would bid on them. But I don't, I think there are better items for me in that slot. So no, I probably won't bid on a hate generating earring (Crystal Gift is better) nor will I roll on heal proc gear, because even tho it does affect my power regens/transfers, there are other things I would like.
But if a Defiler told me that staff of light is the best weapon for them, and they bid against me and win, then I will congratulate them, then probably give them shit until I get my own, because we get along and respect each other enough not to do stupid petty shit like cry because a dirge got a clearcutter or a fury won a spell crit belt.

Ok..for all you people that want to raid end-game stuff, and want to flex your e-peen on the parse. Try raiding without bard buffs one of these days. Send your Dirge/Troub on vacation, somewhere warm. And while you may still clear the content, take note of how much longer it takes, how much lower your zone wide dps is, and how much longer your dead stay that way.
Now...I dont play a bard, but the "utility" lable on a bard is a slap in the face, their contribution to the DPS numbers affect the whole raid, therefore IMO they are DPS classes. And are just as eligible for any "DPS" loot that Ass/Swash/Brig are.
Get over yourselves, Get over the issue, and Die...plskthx.
