I have news for you, wise guy. In my guild, healers are dishing out 1-2.5k dps every fight, EACH. I would hazard that they probably fill 8-10k of our ~35kish average dps. So think about that. If healers shouldn't have dps gear, then that number drops, and the overall raid dps drops, and then shit takes longer to kill, and thats why you take 3 hours in FTH and we take 40 minutes.

Please be so kind as to quote me out where I said anything about Fury's not being entitled to gear that contributes to their DPS.

If the group is not loosing health, there's no reason to be healing. But if I drop a single fury into a group, with the expectation they'll be healing .. they better take care of it.

Nothing pisses me off more then watching a group die over and over, because the Fury is too busy trying to DPS rather then keep everyone standing.

5 alive characters will sure as hell do more damage then a Fury.

I think people are taking Zahne's comments out of context or something LFG. I think he's just saying, heal the group, then DPS...if that Fury is alone in the mage group, he should obviously keep their health up in between damage. I'm not sure why everyone is jumping on him?

I didn't see anywhere that he said anything about not letting Furies DPS at all or have gear that added to DPS...if I missed something, please feel free to show me. I'm not above making a mistake or reading past something.

Ohh yes, Cause Zahne put it so kindly by saying first heal, then dps. Infact, he stated it exactly like this

On that note, I have every right to kick some stupid fury out of my group that thinks they are DPS.

Couldn't imagine why people jumped on him. Furies don't think they are dps...the non shitty ones ARE dps. Unfortunatly I seen furies put out a lot more dps often than some of your average lab gear'd out mages. If they tank is doing anything that involves holding aggro, then the fury shouldn't really have to heal if were just blowing away trash for 25 min in EH
