Gratz dirge!

The worst thing you can do as a guild is to suspend loot rules just because some people disagree over who got the item.

If he can use it, if it is an upgrade for him, and he won it according to standing guild loot rules, then he gets it. Anyone who doesn't like it needs to get over it.

Our Dirge got the last Clearcutter that dropped, its called DKP. Not one person complained either, if you earn it, you can spend it. Obviously some instances leadership needs to step in but in this circumstance, oh welll. .

Even in a DKP system you can still fucking talk to someone and see if they wouldn't mind if you took such and such, and then you will default such and such to them.

Whine some fucking more - an upgrade is an upgrade for everyone. I hate when people whine that some class got something they wanted. Especially when they have more dkp and are just too fucking cheap to spend what they need to get the item they want.

is this what shitty guilds have drama about, quite fascinating

there are very few instances in our guild where people take loot over other people that are "more deserving"(if any). with 22 members and in our guild if you are an asshole you will hear about it in vent/guildchat for a LONG time lol.

Your guild needs to be more open with their feelings and anyone who can't take the heat is probably like 15 years old anyways

shit i bid people up on gear all the time just because i think they suck and id rather them pay more for it so they have less dkp to compete with in the future.

IMO - it should go to the guildie who would benefit most from it. As all of you are working together as a team to accomplish similar goals, why give it to someone who wouldn't get the same benefits from it as someone else who would?

That is asinine - and fuck I am a Rogue, who would benefit more from a CCM over and dirge....but I would never stop a dirge from bidding.
