Re: Do you think EQ2 is worth quiting SAGA?
Saga FTL... Diplomacy wasn't a bad idea.. just way to slow to implement it into the game.

Maybe for the guilds without one and were going to get content blocked. not like it took long to level though.
Then again they changed the xp curve twice before i quit.
Not sure what happened since May but i still get spam from VGtact, apparently still a mod there...

All flaming aside, Crylin, they've simplified a lot of EQ1 when they made EQ2. I think the game flows smoother, but then again, I don't quite have the time to devote to a game like Vanguard/EQ1 like I used to.
No game is going to be 100% flawless. It comes down to a matter of how much bullshit can you overlook when you play and if it's worth giving your $15 a month.

Sure, I know quite a few of my EQ1 guildies that still play. Mostly HS kids that graduated onto college and can devote the time to it.

Re: Do you think EQ2 is worth quiting SAGA?
Vanguard doesn't compare to anything like EQ2.. I tried Vanguard for a couple weeks and I actually thought the game was freaking awesome in alot of ways (mostly the world/terrain design, if not the content/progression so much)
But yea, they don't compare at all really- two totally different games with completely different feel/mechanics.. best I can say to anyone wondering is just try EQ2, worst that can happen is you won't like it.
