The charm wasn't removed or tweaked in anyway. It's always been a fairly random usage and does not happen very often if at all. In fact, during most people's first kills I bet it didn't charm.

People also have to remember that up tell the last GU the only source of wolfsbane was from killing Woushi which pretty much screwed all the FP aligned guilds. Qeynos guilds could get it from Tunare diety quest.

You got me. All that I know is that before the nerf to touch I would get charmed at least once a fight on 5-6 minute kills. Then, afterwards, I only got charmed if the fight, for whatever reason, went on past 9 minutes. Almost like clockwork.

I've been charmed 0 times if we kill it before 6 minutes since the update. I had been charmed 2-3x before the update.

They defiantly changed the charm frequency or timing from what I have seen.

Or you played the RNG and won most of those times. I've seen back-to-back charms from Mayong within the first minute since the patch. It's completely random, you got lucky and saying it "must be true!" is just incorrect. Getting lucky does not make things true. Just like everybody and their Gardener "strats".

And no, they didn't kill it; they really didn't have the numbers to kill anything toward the end, and I left before they exiled.

In it's current form Mayong is entirely doable, I'm betting that removing the de-level had a lot to do with that. Honestly, we had a harder time learning chel'drak for the first time.
