OK I'm having the exact same problem as you are. it started today just after I received the LoN beta invite. Ever since I havent been able to log in to soe anything (timed out, invalid user id pass, ect) I tried all the suggestions given above to no avail. What makes this even worst is the fact you can't talk to any sony rep without logging in...

From talking to other guild mates on ts, one other person has the problem. We are not alone in this issue....but they cant log in to post comments on your post on the soe forums. If I had to guess, there is alot more people affected by this problem then it may seem from that fact alone.

I'm trying the phone number given above again, haven't had any luck as of yet. I will update when I have new info or if I find a fix.

p.s. you really should change the post title...I saw it and ignored it the first time I saw it...search had brought me here.

*UPDATE* I'm able to log in again. I had finally gotten ahold of a sony rep, and they had fixxed the problem. The tech guy didn't tell me what the problem was but it was on thier side. Also I'm no longer part of the LoN beta, so I'm assumeing that was the problem. Cheers all for the suggestions.

I am having the same problem, the tech support told me to disable my fire wall when i called. How did you guys end up getting it fixed?

Going to be more difficult for you to address Speedy =/ They may have to disable the air feed to your Bubble first.

That tech support needs to be shot in the face. Disabling a firewall is the most stupid advice you could take, especially if your system is not 100% patched. And even then...

If you have a firewall that's disabling outbound, you're:

• a retard who:
  • can't configure a firewall
  • needs his outbound blocked because he can't control what's installed on his own machine
• in a corporate environment where you shouldn't be playing games
• at a shitty university
• in a third world country that filters.

There's no logical reason to block outbound on a home connection unless you're part of the group that can't keep his own machines under control.
