It isn't just "college student" that works for hardcore raiding guilds. You have to be a anti-social college student. I was in Ardent Legion over the summer of '05 and was able to play enough hours for them as well as enough to scout mobs and try to get people on to kill em. I was in the "unemployed" category at that time so my job was eq2, which of course I enjoyed.

But after classes started back up I found myself neglecting social aspects of life because the time that I had over summer for that stuff was instead used for classes and studying.

Basically my long story wise way of saying a lot of college students can't do hardcore raiding. But when summer time comes along... I rank up there with the rest.
