I do know about these and can only pray SOE doesn't mess with them :smiley-very-happy:
As for warlocks, how about making them useful to raids again besides LOA

Re: Game Balance made by me
the thing everyone keeps refering to is our great buffs,1 problem we cant use them all
5 slots thats it ....a raiding dirge(mt group) has 4 used period the 5th depends on what MT wants(depends on zone) so if you cant use them how great are they really? thats the point
or heal,i use it alot the stiffle sucks for sure standing there with nothing to do for awhile, but it keeps our dps up and mt up when needed
there is no flexibilty to speak of atm,can we have flexibility yes and would not be ground breaking either
like other classes that have self/target buffs that dont use a concentration slot make ours the same way
the changes coming i hope are good ones but dont see them really helping a dirge because our buff choices will still be the same, so unless we can use more of our buffs not much will change...but will hold judgement till after change and see what happens

Re: Game Balance made by me
I dont see how bards can complain about not being a good class. Sure it may be boring to play, but the fact both bard types bring several things to a group that all other group members want.
Ask a wizard how useful a troub it. Deaggro, mana regen, dissonant note, prescion. All great. Melee get haste and some stat buffs wich will be wanted in EoF as we all know.
Then dirges give a melee proc, stoneskin, hate generation, manasong, parry buff, stat buffs, dps increase, and blade chime. On top of all that they can rez and do a quick heal if needed.
Sure they arent all that exciting but those classes offer more than just about anyone else. No class is going to be the ideal what you want it to be in your mind, but I can safely say that dirges and troubadours are not going to go without a raid slot and furthremore there are slots for multiple ones in many cases.
As for defilers, come on LFG. You know damn well your an overpowered super healer. I have a lvl 70 defiler too you know. Ive played an inquisitor, a mystic, and a warden. Defiler just makes everything that much easier. They are as uber as healers come.
Wardens, I said a little better healing because right now furies just sort of own them in that department.

I started playing EQ2 as a conjuror and I think I went up to level 50 or so before I got seriously bored. I loved playing the dirge. It wasn't boring at all, there was usually something going on that kept me busy ona raid, and generally it was a very diverse class. I hated that troubs could charm though, I wanted charm, fucking whores.

Re: Game Balance made by me
Ish not disagreeing you with at all we do all those things and have them as well,my big issue is i have been playing this tune before LU13( when we rocked) and since then every combat change or scout nerf just kept knocking us down plain and simple....are we effective...for sure...needed for sure
but at this point in the game all we really have is our buffs(we are not getting any dps increase i am sure of that) lets us use them not just a few
and all it would take is making 2 spells concentration slot free
Death bearer
Hyranns
then the rest is up to us as a class to make it work, after all they are self and target buffs....most other classes dont use concentration slots for these type of buffs
just a big pie in the sky dream of mine is all

Re: Game Balance made by me
I don't understand how a bard is any more boring than any other scout, the only difference is you do less dps? I mean as a swash or brigand I attack the mob and sometimes I dodge AE. My direct effect on the fight is how fast the mob dies, and how well it stays debuffed. Some of my debuffs have a large effect but most don't same as yours.
As a troubador, you have group buffs which require timing (ae avoid and maestro) as well as jester's cap and limited CC. On top of that you have the same things any other scout would do as far as using arts during a fight.
As a dirge, you have group buffs which require timing (ae avoid and cob) as well as a combat res, and heal. On top of that you have the same things any other scout would do as far as using arts during a fight.
What would make your class not boring? I mean if you had Dispatch would you suddenly be exciting? It's not that exciting to stand behind the mob and macro a debuff. And any of you who think Dirges and Troubs are worthless, that is so unbelieveable I don't even know where to start. Please try raiding without bards and let me know how much 'easier' it is. If you think your class sucks, ask the people you are buffing how much they miss it when you aren't online.

Re: Game Balance made by me
Anyone who claims a bard is boring is putting up their songs and going pure melee. There's just too much going on unless the raid scene has severly changed since I was gone.
