This is a nice step but they should also nerf the xp gained from raiding by 25% at a minimum, preferably 50%. This would then require actual effort on the part of raiding guilds to do writs and turn in level appropriate status items in order to actively level thier guild. Right now while raiding normally w 24 people we usually expect a level every 1 or 2 day of raiding without putting in any effort.

Actually gungo, a "stealth nerf" is any nerf not included in patch notes. Since you aren't aware of that, I thought I'd have to tell you and thank you for sharing your stupidity to the world.

Im enjoying this change. On BB too many guilds bought their way up to 60. Now they can't. Very overdue change imo. It will be very interesting to see guilds lvl up when Kunark comes out.

TBH I think this will have little affect on guilds buying levels. When I collected items for the last increase I didn't buy the lower level ones anyways and there will always be plat farmers selling a million of these things.

Also the huge number of items that would be required to get 20 levels wouldn't allow for someone leveling up in one day. Unless of course someone really has 100s of thousands if not a million items it will take.

So this won't change much except that lower lvl nubs in higher lvl guilds wont be able to turn in their items they gather for the guild.
