MG is a class act. Being a halfway attractive female gamer, he was a breath of fresh air at FF in Vegas. He and Brenlo are only SOE guys that I talked to that weren't either smarmy and political, dismissive, or leering at my rack through the whole conversation. He is a true professional and treated me with respect every time I had dealings with him. I wish him all the luck, success and happiness he can find.

Steve is a prince. He's smart, funny, and always DAMN good at his job. (He was a total doll at the ATL FF and the ONLY person there that managed to give me the whole star struck feeling of not being able to talk much, which is a feat...) He helped make the community and it's fallen off ever since he got handed other responsibilities.
It isn't going to be the same without him around.
I hope whatever he does next will be good to him, he deserves it just as much as Ryan.
I'm going to go back to the crushing depression now  I can't muster up happy thoughts about the whole EQ2 thing right now.

Does it matter? They are leaving. It's on the Dev tracker. Do you think more people read Community News? I'd be willing to bet you it's closer than you think. I can only say this because I post in the Community News a lot and...yeah...could be just my name but I don't see a lot of traffic in that area. |

I saw BG probably leaving but MG came as a suprise and yeah like I said earlier this is going to hurt them short term because MG has been here the whole time. I'm not going to be anti-naysayer at all. I have no idea what the future holds. His replacement may be good, may be bad. *shrug* If I could predict the future like that for certain I'd be buying lottery tickets right now. I'll miss MG for the most part. |

Community news doesn't get alot of traffic cuz it says in big bold letters at the top:

Maybe people don't post there because it comes across as a "Post your links and move on" type of forum. I do think that MG leaving is at least worthy of an Announcement. But they're probably grumpy about it. |
