I also never mentioned haste, merely dps which gets capped with both coercer and dirge. And I agree, the MT group is going to go through some changes now, whether it remains a 3 healer group, or drops to a 2 healer, crusader, dirge, coercer, or to drop the dirge or coercer to make room for a crusader or even a brawler (avoidance buffs), its all things that guilds will have to expiriment with. Personally, I don't care what group I get put in, as long as I have at least 3 melee to toss my dps buffs on.

Hate has always been a tricky game of dancing the line. I know the line will be moving, but as stated before, with the diminishing returns, even a 200/200 dps will only be doing ~25% more agro. Whether that can be covered by the MTs or not will remain to be seen (as I can see the hate being increased as well).

BTW, guardians, while not AS good as zerkers, can still dish out some impressive dps, especially with dmg sheilds, procs and dps/haste buffs.

Hrm, the Combat Changes hit the test server? None of the update notes seem to mention it, not to mention there's very little activity going on about the Combat Changes except theories in the normal boards. I doubt they'll put the combat changes on test until after they have Innoruk/Tunare's Live Events go live, along with the Halloween stuff, which I would bet goes live next Wednesday. Then they'll put the combat changes on test for everybody to look at.

A Dev posted a bit ago that the Combat Changes were on Beta. The actual post was about some guilds who got Beta'd over but weren't (at least at the time) allowed into the EoF content, just to test the old world with the combat changes.

Yup Calthine is right, I misread the post by Gallenite. I wish I had known that last week.

The Halloween stuff I'm suprised isn't live yet considering it's 90% a rehash of last year.

My question is with the cap increases will my damage scale back and I have to up my int to 1070 to maintain my current spell potentional. Maybe I missed this answer somewhere, flame if you have to but atleast answer :smiley-happy:

No you will not have to get 1070 to have your current spell potential....I think it will be somewhere between 510 and 1070, in the middleish.

I have this creeping feeling that melee dps will overtake caster dps by quite a bit. As if it doesn't already.
