Oh yeah, please for the love of all thats holy bring back frigging camp lists. Yeah that was a brilliant thing we had to implement for a stupid mob to spawn.

Are you mental? Wait lists for mobs is hands down one of the worst things I ever experienced in EQ1.

What the hell are you talking about? This was merely in reference to PROGRESSION, something KoS mostly lacked. Progression > no progression.

In Eq1 I did a lot of crafting. I was a master crafter in several of the trades.
The thing I miss most....Being able to make unique things. Every crafter in eq2 makes the same things...of equal quality..and there are a lot of us.

Give me a way to get an edge. I want to say I am a master crafter..I can make that ring do this or that for you.

Dont make it easy for me. Make me have to work my ass off for the ability to do it.
And I dont mean I have to make 1500 of something to gain an ability. Give me a damn hard quest that is gonna take some freakin long ass time. the reward at the end? A new skill...an ability to imbue with some different effect.

Give me the ability to be different and useful not just another level 70 crafter who can make the same damn things that billy joe jimbob jumior the third can make.

I don't recall being able to make anything unique in EQ1. Of course, I quite when EQ2 launched.

There were some items that not everyone made...I remember the colored diamonds that gave rings or whatever distinct utilities. those were not so easy to come by. and not everyone could make them.

I don't really see the point in playing a MMO in tiny, desolate zones. Give me roaming agro (one group/raid's actions can agro another group/raid's mob) and the thrill of getting there first any day of the week over teh phat lewtz.

Cut down all the crap classes. Make the classes distinct and fun to play, which specific and important roles for raiding. A shadowknight's job should be more than "backup in case our warriors need a night off". And two bards with different buffs are not needs, ditto enchanters.

Challenging raid content. I don't want to clear an instance first time in zone. Make every named in the instances as complex as Princes/Chel'Drak.

PoP style raid progression.

Fix itemisation.


If these things were changed I'd come back like a shot.

Here is my suggestion....

1. No more instanced raids EVERYTHING is contested.
2. Evolving Items- just a great idea.
3. More zones like Nizara and Nek 3. Also make the items out of there better.
4. Make it damn near impossible to have a full set of Class Specific gear that way when you see someone running around in it you know they are in a badass guild and spent a lot of time playing to get it.
5. Prestige- Kind of running with the idea of the bonus for group and raid leader.....maybe make it so that the harder encounters you've killed the more prestige you get giving better benefits to being leader. Also, having a double meaning because I hate inspecting a player and seeing him with almost all relic just to see that he/she can't play their way out of Sanctum at lvl 70...
5. Make the bonuses for having set armor better if and only if they make the items a pain in the ass to get. Also, I like the WoW idea for armor bonus. 3 items= a little bonus, 5 items= a little better than 3, full set- REDICULOUS!
For example, full set of class armor for a tank could give 35 sta 250 mit and 500 to all resists.
6.Finally, make leveling harder.....I am sick of lvl 70 players sucking more than lvl 50's. It doesn't bother me that a lvl 70 is still using a cedar buckler, it's when they can't play or do two things at once.

Edit: Also make more choices for mounts and if a mount is going to give a stat, make it give a little more than 200 to all resists......not worth 20pp especially when I can already run faster than the mount.
