Re: What would you do to make the game better?
Broken record, I know. But I would still be playing had they made more ornate and colorful armor and weapons, and didn't leave EVERYTHING broken high end. People have no idea how much that pisses me off. Makes me want to stomp on the heads of small woodland creatures. I played WoW for 4 months after I quit eq2, and not one quest was broken, not one mob all fucked up.

working content/quest/raidmobs on the release on an expansion, I have a feeling we are going to see some messed up shit when EOF is released.
Better servers would help too, as I'm expectly the nightly crashes again when the expansion goes live
more contested raid mobs, and make them harder too

Re: What would you do to make the game better?
No ninja fixes/boosts? I don't care if you make the mobs harder - in fact, in most cases I like it, as, something being ridiculously easy is a boring fight. But please TELL US you changed the freakin mob. That doesn't require any extra time spent working on the game, just stick a line in the update notes: "X mob took a rest and got his strength back, you'll find him a bit less tender and more chewy this week."
Granted, then there's the whole "fix one thing, another thing breaks" problem which can't really be announced, but it shouldn't be making it out of test.
Lag... lag lag lag lag lag lag lag lag. Lag. Granted it's been a lot better on BB lately but that's onlly if you don't mind standing there for a minute waiting for the mender/mailbox/your raid/an NPC to materialize. Any public zone should have the capability of going to two instances. I understand why, granted, Zek, Feerrott, RV, EL, EF, LS don't - but in any new zone this should be a given... 3 if necessary. I'm really hoping they've got this going on EoF before it hits otherwise the Fae newbie zones are going to be stop animation.
Or maybe just on Butcherblock, but I digress.
Clone the French GMs and give them to us?
Most of my other stuff is small/cosmetic, but:
An option to archive completed quests into a notepad file in your EQ2 folder and purge the ingame "completed" journal would be nifty - or delete individual completed quests.
Auto archiving logs would be nice, as well. User Interface settings could have an option to archive logs daily, weekly, monthly. I think this can be done with ACT? But it should probably be built into the game.
Some clean up on the Options/UI Settings, etc. menus.
In game Notepad/Sticky notes. I need to go dig through EQ2 UI and get better UIs all the way around, granted.
Update ingame webbrowser so you can keep it open like your quest journal, etc. and still fight (you can do limited things if the webbrowser is up, and the browser itself is very, very primitive, last I checked) Or, remove the browser option all together (not sure if adding MORE to the UI would make the game more laggy? you guys decide).
I'm sure there's plenty more... better communication between CSR and playerbase would be a major plus.

Re: What would you do to make the game better?
Alot has been said already but this is my vote...
New/varied Loot tables...
New armor--colors, textures or dyes...
I like the curve idea...make it much more difficult to hit higher levels...
Add a few more raid zones...
I wouldn't even mind having a few raid zones be larger...meaning more mobs/etc...

That'll be part of EoF - there's a new leather/chain/plate that can all be dyed. Here is the thread.
The leather doesn't look bad at all, the chain I'm neutral, the plate has - and this is my favorite touch EVER...well... I'll just show you:
A pair of crossed hammers RIGHT smack over your family jewels. Nothing like "X marks the spot" to remind the mob this is the place to aim for. LOL
We have not yet seen any casual clothes...I'm thinking though, if those hammers are any indication, codpieces are coming back to fashion!
ETA - Everytime I see that plate pic, I start humming "we're off to see the Wizard"

Re: What would you do to make the game better?
They don't need new gimmicks, they need to start by fixing 3 things:
1. Pathing
2. Mob AI (a warlock should not charge a guardian and hit him with his staff)
3. Itemization
