I guess it depends on how you define "easy," still.

Furies aren't hard to figure out how to play, IMO, but I've been playing one for 2 years and could play her in my sleep. I'm spacey and math-impaired - so score one for the "easy" side. OTOH, I'm brimming with ADHD and generally have hyperactivity and short attention span on my side. That may be an unfair advantage, Furies are definitely an ADHD friendly class.

People seem to get turned off the class because of spike damage hits and they're "too busy" or "not enough heal power." Well, ok, those are all things you have to either work with or work around - and that's where the "not so easy" part comes in, IMO.

(At least people give reasons now. Early on they used to just not know what a Fury was to begin with & would scream for a healer when the group formed. :D).

There is no fight (I'm going to regret saying this, those nights I want to nap at the wheel) that a Fury should ever be standing around with their thumb up their ass. You are there to maximize your group's DPS, squeak out as much damage as you can add and keep your group & the MT alive...oh, and not run out of power. The trick is juggling the timing and making it all happen smoothly and using every trick up your sleeve to make it happen. Potions, totems, status vendor tokens, hell - Brocks Thermal Shocker. LOL

Doesn't take a genius, no, certianly - but while our heals are fast, they're not fast like lightening (particularily HoTs) and it's a matter of timing to know when it's safe to squeeze in the nuke and get the debuffs going.

In DPS groups we're even busier (yay!) - Bestial Feast should be going on every trash mob you can get it on (nice str/sta proc with a tiny heal), Fae Pyre should be going everytime you can cast it - throw this out there with the usual juggling act.

So hard - maybe not - busy, definitely.

Technically every class should be busy - but, if there's little healing to do, from my understanding, some healer classes are somewhat SoL.

I don't agree with bards being one of the 3 hardest classes to play well in a raid setting. In fact I think bards are close to being in the top 3 easiest, if not in the top 3. Scafloc pretty well covered it I think, I can see a 5 year old being able to play a bard, except for knowing which buffs to have up. However that alone wouldn't place them among the hardest in my opinion.

Bards are the easiest class to play adequately. That is a far cry from well. A well played bard has all the group buffs up, knows when to use their abilities such as CoB or PoM and can pump out fairly reasonable dps while doing so.

There are a few bards that can parse well, and there are too many bards to count that their dps is that of the a middle of the road priest class. I will guarentee you that 9/10 if not more bards in your high end raid guilds are merely adequate and not played all that well. They are just like enchanters, you can click the buttons and use the buffs and appear like your playing your class, but when someone else comes along that really tries and knows what they are doing they make you look like the shittiest enchanter/bard in the world.

Wardens have no huge nukes or huge heals so for the most part the main difficulty in playing a warden is power management. I'm assuming you're referring to general raiding as obviously something out of the ordinary like solo healing Nizara is not easy.

Well you've seen lots of my parses, and I've not seen any troubador who outparsed me, so I think I can count myself as one of the 1/10 bards who knew what they were doing...

Using the right buffs is nothing - Raxxyls, Haste, Mana, Deagro, Procs. If you can read that and copy it, grats on having the optimal buff setup.

Apart from that you're just pumping out DPS and using Jesters and POTM. How is that any different to a brigand maximising his DPS and timing his debuffs correctly? You've said that bards are the hardest class, and brigands are the easiest, when there's really no difference. To get the most out of Jesters you need to coordinate it with the brigands, which takes just as much skill on their part, PotM you just use on encounters of 3+, it's not rocket science.

The only thing which was any challenge was my AOE avoidance, most of the time I was able to use bladedance or turnstrike to avoid nearly every AOE, which allowed me to stay in as much as the brigands, probably the biggest factor in my DPS.

Bards are nearly as effective on autofollow or just standing at ranged. That doesn't mean it's especially hard to play them well, just that majority of bards are lazy.

Wizards are teh easiest, why else would 1,000,000 botters all be lvl 60 wizards!!!

Summoners aren't to hard... I even 2 box conjuror/necromancer occasionally on raids.

IMO,

Think about all of good players out there and then think about their alts.....if there was a difference in difficulty, you wouldn't be able to make an alt and be bad ass with him. It's not about how hard the class is, it's about knowledge of the game.
