So it's obvious you never actually been to a raid before like molten core, how the fuck can you say how many scripted encounters are in wow? Let's do this, ill list 3 scripted encounters(and no mobs with adds do not count) in wow and you list 1 in eq2. I guarantee you will lose(im not even going to list expansion ones):

C'thun: first starts out as a giant eye that shoots lasers(not even tankable), then into a big..thing that summons giant tentacles and swallows random people into its stomach and you have to attack it from inside to make it vulnrable to damage.

Noth: Mob itself is normal but it has a very nasty ae so you have to keep it away from the casters..oh and at intervals the ground erupts and if you are at the wrong spot you take massive damage. So the melee have to constantly keep moving with the tank as they try and do damage while avoiding eruptions. Oh and randomly a person will be teleported to a gauntlet that they have to fight their way out of.

Thaddius: Starts out with 2 mobs that you fight on seperate platforms, then you jump over to the boss himself that puts debuffs on half the people, another on the other half. Negative and positive. If a negative person gets close to a positive, raid wipes. And he changes the debuff on people alot so comedy ensues when someone isn't paying attention.

I await all these scripted eq2 encounters since wow has fewer.

What you see at FoH is a bunch of opinionated assholes who couldn't cut it in WOW, hate EQ2 and reminisce how uber they were in Velious-era EQ1.

They don't play any game past level 20 but they do hold those tech support jobs that let them post bullshit 24/7 while "working."

By the way tomthumb what the fuck are you talking about? You know it's a mmo forum now and not just a eq1 guild fourm right? Well doubt you would know since you are just pretending to know anything. Many of the posters never even played eq1 and raid in wow.

why does anyone here even care about WOW? Why is this discussion even taking place? If any of us wanted to play wow they could go buy the game and try it out themselves. I played the game got bored with the overly simplistic nature of it and quit. If your that hard up about wow, then go talk to people who care. Doesn't matter if someone is right or not about the "facts" about a game no one here gives a shit about. Unless I am tremendously mistaken in thinking this was an EQ2 fansite. If you want to argue about the semantics and so called facts of the gameplay go do it in the section created for such discussions, but don't soil the GENERAL GAMEPLAY section with this rhetoric.

I didn't start the thread buddy, so people seem to care a whole lot about wow even if apparently no one cares about it which makes no sense but hey.

Kobalt, you are obviously dumber than a popsicle stand owner at the south pole, so I am going to try to make this real easy for you.

Pointing out I don’t know much about WoW after I already pointed out myself that I only played it for a few months when it first came out does not make you look as bright as you seem to think it does.

But the real reason I know you are eligible for the special Olympics, is because you want to start a WoW vrs EQ2 war on the EQ2flames forum. You couldn’t come across dumber if you made your sig “I for year old”.

If you like WoW so much, and it is such a great game, why are you reading EQ2 forums hmmm? Because I realize you are an idiot, just thought you should know; I did not refuse to play your game because I was afraid EQ2 would lose your challenge. I just didn’t think it was right to string along a retard like that.
