I have to agree with this sentiment. I browse the FoH forums on a rare occasion. I wouldn't call them assholes but many of the posters seem to wax nostalgic of the good 'ole days of EQ and how hardcore and uber they/it was. Some of them bring up some interesting ideas but it doesn't seem like too many in that thread have played EQ2 in a while.

All I have to say about reducing the number of classes in EQ2 is "Choose to play as one of 9 iconic professions" - does that ring a bell to anyone the last time SOE reduced classes? RIP SWG - 3 Nov 2005

Ahh, placing words in someone else’s mouth by creating a bogus quote, a sure sign you know shit for what you speak.

I did however think it quite humorous that in your fake quote you claim “I get defensive when called on it to try to save face” in a post where you are doing exactly that. WoW is the perfect game for you as it is just your speed.

And please spare us the “I like eq2 also” bullshit; it is quite obvious you do not even play EQ2, or if you do have maybe made it to the mid 30s.

If we condense the bard, enchanter, and priest classes (the off-the-bat obvious choices I'd say) while leaving all else intact, we are still left with 19 classes. I'm trying to remember how many classes were in Final Fantasy 5's job system.

there are other ways to fix troubies than merge them with dirges...

for starters... make the trouby epic dual wield pompoms so everyone sees from far away how pathetic and fucked up they are....
