maybe we would have arguments like that if we all haven't leveled to 70 and have extensive knowledge of the game.

foh may give a better view from the average eq2 player, but its vastly different than the view experienced players get here. lets keep them separate.

I've been tempted to, but I pretty much just try to lie low over there, just because of how retarded they are and how they remind me of the official boards, just they think they're something because they're posting on FoH.

They talk about having so many abilities and such...well I don't know about you guys but I'd tire pretty quick of a game where all you had to do was run around pressing 1 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 3....

They can say what they want, but they're *gasp* wrong! If the game is so "retarded easy" then why can't they learn the combat system, game and class mechanics and level past 20? Yeah the game gets a bit repetitive and tedious once you've been playing it for a long while, but ALL GAMES DO!

What you read there (about EQ2 at least) are usually a lot of emotional outburst, sometimes based on facts, most of the time because someone is pissed with some feature they don't like.

I'm guilty myself of going all out on FoH sometimes, but it's just because the night before eq2 pissed in my pot once too many or maybe because I suck at the game, which is a possibility to not discard immediately

In the past months the game received a lot more praise than blame and it's not common over there. Fact is FoH is a website with a lot of visibility and they managed to get some new people into the game or bring back old players, which imo is a good thing.

The "dps tier" quote is to be read in a different way: it's a stigma constantly carried around for what... 2 years? Still a lot of people believe they have a god given right to dps more than class_03 just because.
By consolidating classes, which is an idea that came up on these boards too, maybe it'd be possible to get rid of that crap as well and shut up the official forum hooligans.
In the end I find the FoH crowd is having a positive impact on the game (so far).

No one is so naive to believe it'll ever be done, as I said it's just nerd rage in its purest form.

P.S.: To post on FoH, just ask to an admin, sooner or later you'll be able to.
