Says the defiler who told everyone STR does not increase a priests melee damage. Oh, dont forget you also claimed +heals were only 1/4 effective on wards because you were too stupid to "mouse over" your own GD active ward and see it was just a display bug.

Are you STILL holding a grudge that a "nobody" knew more about game mechanics than you did when EoF came out?

Wards were 1/4th less effective in beta.
Wards and upto were broken and were actually 1/4th more effective.
I explained that to you but apparently you are still to thick to understand it, Both of those things were fixed before they changed upto.
If all you have on me is once believing a developer and you figuring out a broken mechanic before I did grats!

As far as STR I remember you spouting out some bullshit like 15 str raised your auto attack by 100 damage. STR HARDLY effects your melee damage it does but not by much, if thats the worst you can say about me then I'm gonna have to laugh.

Also I don't hold grudges about stupid shit like that apparently you are trying to though.

Edit: I never called you a nobody if you want to belittle yourself like that its fine with me I guess.

Fuck beta, you said that shit when it was LIVE. I pointed out to you it was a display error. You thought it was mechanics even when it was live. Constantly saying +heals were so overpowered so they were made 1/4 effective on wards for balance. Man up and admit you were schooled in your own class.

I'm the camp of going for high INT also, it's also easier to find WIS/INT gear than STR/WIS gear in my experience, but that could be just cause i havent looked for STR stuff for a while.

The spear of the grutan will probably give much better damage given its massive crits, but i would say that most high level and ALL mid-level defilers have no chance in heck of getting that kind of weapon.

So it's both easier and cheaper to get your INT up and get a doggy proc, especially for soloing when having the dog DPS while you heal/ward/debuff is a great option.

As far as that goes you are correct all except that healers dont gain dmg from str, the problem with your weapon is the low high end. Serpintine skewer has a high end of I belive 120 vs the spear I use with a high end of 237 with crits ( max damage +1 - max damage +1 x1.5) the serpintine skewer dosent do much dmg comparably vs Vrasakin claw club or my spear. You can use /weaponstats to see what you are acctully attacking for a acrylia band of strength when meleeing will make a huge diffrence with a high end weapon and crits the image below is with out a ring so it is a little low, but defently melee dps is a viable option considering you will get a free auto attack between youre spells adding to your casting dmg.

Clearly I was saying that STR doesn't effect melee, or are you just that blind you can't read it? I was responding to some one who said STR doesn't effect our melee.

I will be the first person to say my memory is terrible but I'm not about to let you spew some bullshit about me. As far as the ward thing I will be the first person here to say I was wrong about what was happening, oh well shit happens we all aren't perfect. I admitted it back then and will admit it now.
