On second thought, I don't think there are many players at or near 2500 quests now. So I drop any objection I stated earlier, but think it should only be a title.

A title for such a major accomplishment should be unique.

SoE has figured out how to allow people to change their last name.

So it should allow a one time choice of title for hitting 2500 quests on a single toon. Players should be allowed to type that title into a quest box in game, subject to naming rules.

This title would only be special if it was uniqueI agree with Illuminator about titles. At one point, I felt special with an Ebon Dragon title, but then a few weeks later, I stopped using it when I saw dozens of other people with the same thing.

Well I was gonna pick they dont deserve crap, but after doin about a 1000 quests I think a title is well deserved for those who did way more than me...lol. I guess a mythical item would go over well for those who care if their gear is uber, but I aint one of 'em. So I pick title and not some mamby pamby one either. Sigh I'm tire of Champion of Drednever...and I'm sick of seeing the same ones over and over again, but something new and fresh that I can look over and say,"Hey cool! I wonder how he got that" and then bug him with massive tells til he tells me

Trust me man, I am a horrible BS'er, I would have felt way too cheesy to have even started this poll if I were close to contention for the suggested award.

City faction titles still retain a decent amount of value yet because there is no shortcut around the writs you need to do for them. Personally I think T6 is the best time to work on them because by the time you hit T7, the round trips are just too time consuming.

Title is fine, but you should not be rewarded with something good for going back and doing green quests in Zek and the Peat Bog.

I absolutely agree that people that do 2500+ quests should be rewarded in some manner. Mythical item? nah. Personally I think titles are stupid, but if the very few select group of people that this would apply to think it's appropriate, then why not?

I think if I could choose a write-in candidate for the reward, it would possibly be a mount with a unique look, but otherwise no special characteristics.

I also think the idea of the people being able to choose their custom title within reason is cool if the people themselves like titles.

How would they stop you? I guess all those PL/grouped/raided toons lvled easy enough, but every toon I have lvled by goin to each city and doin the menial quests there and then goin to Antonica. But say you did lvl your toon without doin those quests, how would they stop you from doin it? After all 2500 is not that easy to do, especially if you didnt do the original ones from the cities, which include Peat bog or Sunken City. You just have to not care how dumb you look while runnin around a lvl 4 zone killing gnolls at lvl 70...lol.

Well the only way for most people to get 3k quests or whatever is to go and do quests in grey zones. Grey = not a challenge, therefore you don't deserve a reward. You get rewards for completing the quests anyway, you don't need even more.

I challenge you to count to 2500, let alone do 2500 quests, especially when the mob you need to finish one isn't waving at you saying, "Hullo, here I am!"

I am curious though, has Quester done all the epic quests?

I agree. Just because a quest has gone grey doesn't mean it's not a challenge. At the very least it still requires a time investment.
