Uber reward for Uber questers?

Epic effort begets epic reward. This playstyle isn't just universal to all players in this game, but all players in any game.

If a solo quest were made for a mythical item with steps that scaled to the power of the item, then the more notorious whining players wouldn't even have the skill or patience to finish it.

This is the only only only non-raid act that would ever lead me to say, yes, this person deserves a mythical item:

If you have 2500 quests completed in your journal.

I don't have anywhere near this amount completed, and I seriously doubt very many if any in this forum do either. But there are a few people gamewide who do (3 to be exact), and have almost read every stitch of dialogue in the game, camped every single obscure mob that can be camped, run every tedious errand that can be run, have demonstrated more patience than is even feasible in my little world, and have absolutely jack shit to show for it.

Nobody can bullshit or buy their way to 2500 quests completed.

Just as raiding is a gameplay style, so is questing. While I don't think they should get a Mythical piece, I do think something - such as custom titles, or say special cloaks in EoF should be granted for high questing milestones.

2500 quests completed in journal is definately not easy to achieve. Voted for the title cause that seems more fitting

I know I'd rather have a rare title than some mythical thingie.

Voted for a mythical item at 2.5K as Im not the biggest fan of titles. For sure achievements like this should be rewarded in some fashion or other.

Just because its mythical doesnt mean it needs to be uber. It could be like theSotL swim trinket. Although only one person could have it per server and that would leave the other few people who put the time and effort in out. Title would be awesome too though. i mean i worked my ass off for the near 900 i have done but shit 2500 or more...thats dedication, i say give those players recognition.

we have a guy in our guild that currently holds the highest completed quests on the server < possibly WW> and weve been trying as a server to get him a special title for a long time. GO GO QUESTER!!!!!

Who cares about titles? I have them turned off anyway so I dont even see other players titles.

I voted no to provide any reward for a large number of quests completed at this point, because that would be an ex post facto reward.

Rewards should never be given as additional benefits for what people have already done, or what they have made substantial progress towards achieving.

Rewards should be specified in advance, and should always be a goal that people must work toward and earn. Rewards should never just be a freebie or "gimmie" based on some feeling that questers are getting shafted by The Man, because many are not raiders. No class of player should get automatic "retroactive" benefits, which appears to be the suggestion in this case.

Questers already get a reward for each quest completed. At most, I'd have no objection to an additional title being added for a next tier of Heritage quests, a title after relic keeper. That would fit in with an existing program.
