Still quite a bit of beta time left. I'm sure many more will get the chance to be the very best beta testers that they can be.

I know someone who got into the beta by buying the magazine even though he had no intention of ever reading it. He seems to be doing a good job and taking the role seriously. I would guess there are a fair few of those. It is the players who are "beta testing" while also reading Equinoxe and saying "wow...I never knew that!" that we need to worry about.

Well I got the magazine,,, and was charged twice for it. And still have yet to get an invite or even an email what so ever. Kinda pissed at the moment with SOE. I mean to buy the magazine (that was a piece of shit) and then getting charged twice for it and no beta invite....GRRRRR..anyway I am ranting

Beta should be Handled by Account Age based on main character leve with an even spread of all Levels. Play time should also be factored in. Just because some dipshit bought a magazine does not mean he "demonstrated his commitment to EQ2". And I love how a select few top end guilds get in to beta just so they can formulate their stratagies before the expansion even comes out. Sure let the top guilds test the avatars and the end game raid zone, but there are plenty of other guilds out there that could be testing other raid zones or encounters as well...
