Stupid beta signups...

Am I the only one pissed that it seems like they handed out a total of 25-50 beta signups for people that didn't get in through some other method?

This is totally lame given that there are so many people in beta that effectively bought their way in :P

Btw, congrats SoE on having 0 renewals on your magazine unless you figure out a way to time your next expansion/adventure pack release around that renewal mark :P

All this win a beta key on this site blablabla really pisses me off. There are so many people winning keys just to be one of the first in the RoK expansion. I doubt they are betaTESTING the game like it should be

I got a beta invite for Tabula because I downloaded the demo of CoH a few months ago. Played EQ2 for a few years and my best chance (ie only) to get into Beta is by buying it. Awesome customer appreciation.

Yeah, I guess my main gripe is that I know for a fact there are a bunch of people who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground that get into the beta because they buy some magazine. Beta testing needs to have a bit more thought put into it than "OMG BUY OUR CRAP"...

I know there are good people in the beta too, but there are a bunch that aren't, and I just hope this doesn't turn into another test server fiasco where broken crap is released because some retard "had to" get in only to not test anything and lower the quota for the rest of the players allowed in.

So it wasn't just me that got shafted with the sign ups lol. I figured being a part of beta tests since KoS would have basically gotten me in, but apparently not.

Broken stuff slips threw cracks and same thing applys to beta as test......people report/feedback/bug shit but doesnt mean it gets fixed befor it gets to live.

Stuff on live that has been implemented broken/bugged doesn't get fixed when /feedback and /bug is used on it, why would it be fixed when done on beta?
