well thats just great if you arent a tank. in a group with a bard, templar, defiler, ect ect i can get upwards of 60 buffs. i end up going to the buff bar under the target window which shows a few more but even that isnt enough for me. WTB buff bar which will show all your buffs. fucking stupid that they limit it if you ask me. how am i susposed to know if i have all the buffs i should have or not =(

no cant say i have
but with the ui mod i have i can see the detrimental effects in group and raid window. Hell they are even macro'ed in so if you click that noxious warning it casts a cure.

How about making the buff bars customizable. So, for instance, I can make a buff bar that doesn't show detrimental effects?

Or almost as good (and probably easier), how about making the big buff bar not show the self buffs since they are in the other buff bar? Also, food/drink really needs to be in the self buff bar. Dunno how much food I've wasted because I couldn't find the food/drink icon, even after consuming another set of it.

What the heck are those buff bars called anyway, felt silly not knowing the proper names. maintained buff bar and other buff bar?

I hope adding dynamic data for impairments on all raid members is on that list as well (or for starters, to fix the non-functional dynamic data for group members).

After raiding with the new debuff bar for 1 night, I can report it is a complete bust. The only effect that ever showed up there was revive sickness, and I was getting hit with trauma and arcane stuns and dots from aoes. Even the revive sickness only showed there like half the time (was still showing on the regular buff bar a lot). I can't even get rid of the darn thing and go back to how it was tuesday, because that revive sickness is a pretty important thing to know about.

Posted on the main forums, but will post here since there was already a reply:
------------

Feedback on the Detrimental Effects addition:

I was glad to see this addition. As a caster, it doesn't help me all that much, but it is a step in the right direction.

The problem:

With only 30 icons available, the sort order is now different; I rarely, if ever, see any of my own beneficial proc's go off because all 30 slots are full. Templar group reactives appear near the top, for example, but the group/raid buffs fill all 30 slots.

For example, I want to see the following things proc:
  • Vine-Wrapped Boots
  • Wand of Crystalized Plasma
  • Cloak of Unrest
  • Cloak of Zet
As examples. Before GU39, I could ALWAYS see them, at least. Now, its VERY rare. I'd have to be in a group with very few buffs to see them now, so its pretty much never.

Can we either:
  • Add a window of effects that are temporary (such as procs, group reactives, etc)
  • Force anything generated by my character to ALWAYS appear
  • Get rid of the 30 slot limitation
  • Get an effects window just for my character
I see more and more items with group procs, and I tailor what I'm casting to what is active at the time for the largest benefit. If I can't even see what is up because the effects window is full, I have to "use the force", which I'd rather not do. Its bad enough that many of these procs don't even generate emotes, so I can't even use a log parser to tell me whats up and whats not.

Thanks!

So you are saying that sometimes when you died it went to DSE window and other times it went to SE or it jumped between the two? I have never seen this happen in any of my playing or testing, it sounds pretty weird.

Found a bug with some reses that did not get flagged correctly, I will be fixing those shortly. Any other spells that should have gone there but didn't?
