I received the "naming issue" thing too. I tried all the stuff that kept me from transferring my PVP toons last time, pulling everything off the broker, repairing my armor but still had no luck.

This is GM Gaunsky from Sony Online Entertainment's In-Game Support. Following up on your petition I understand you are unable to transfer servers using our server transfer services. The reason to this is because we are currently experiencing technical difficulties which prevent players from transferring servers, regardless of the new name they choose. Our development team is working hard on fixing those issues, so I suggest you try to transfer server again some time in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience caused, and if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to reply to this petition or submit a new one.

Thanx soe gm's! seems about the amount of thier response to ANY problem.
I've been trying for 3 days now to transfer one of my toons, yeah, jsut not working, and i know everything was right on the toon, and the name was not taken, but kept getting the naming issue as well.
they'd better fix it soon!

And the best part of all is that there really isn't any type of response for this issue. For example if you go to the live chat...the people there don't even know what the issue is and just tell you that it's a name issue...err...

SOE needs to get on the communication band wagon for their phone, live chat and in game support. Because they will all tell you different stories and solutions (that don't work) for the same problem.
