Login Server Dead?

Can't log in (am given the message, "Operation Timed Out" on my patcher a few seconds after I try), and if I log into the official forums, it says my password/username is incorrect. Same result happens if I try to directly boot the game, avoiding patching.

A few other people I know are having this problem, anyone else?

Appears so... Same for me, EQ2Players.com login shows a CAS `Single Web Login` error as if the login or auth server is down...

Was really starting to freak out about a hacked account but then saw the auth server error and of course it's SoE's issue, not mine

And its 6:30 am at SoE right now, looks like no eq2 for a while.

same problem here.. cant login into game (operation timed out error), also get a nice invalid username / pw with my acc 2 - 5, the only acc i can login into official forums is trhe one that is banned from forums lol

soe heard i was low on cash and was grouping to help me gather a bit

Same here. Went to G'fay to pick up more writs, got booted when I zoned to LP.

Now getting the operation timed out message as well as the "you dont exist" message when trying to log into forums
